Abstract

1320400 Transfers TRENTESAUX TOULE MONDE SA 24 Sept 1970 [26 Sept 1969 6 Aug 1970] 45572/70 Heading B6C A heat and pressure activated transfer has a carrier of paper or regenerated cellulose and a release layer of a mixture of nitrocellulose and aminoplast. The detachable design layer may be of a pigmented vinyl resin such as P.V.C. or a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer. The aminoplast may be a urea-formaldehyde resin and the nitrocellulose may be dinitrocellulose or gun-cotton. The release layer may contain a plasticizer such as octyladipate. A layer of protective varnish, e.g. acrylic or vinyl resin, may be provided between the release layer and the detachable design layer. The design layer may be coated with acrylic resin or be an aluminium foil having a layer of such a resin. To use the transfer, a layer of plastisol may be provided.
