Abstract

1319221 Weighing apparatus COAL INDUSTRY (PATENTS) Ltd 20 Dec 1971 [1 Jan 1971] 79/71 Heading G1W In a method of, or apparatus for testing the rate of flow of material through a hopper such as 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15, each hopper is fed with a material A, B, C, D or E by a conveyor 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 and after a predetermined period an actuator 17 operates a mechanism 18 to close doors 16 to each hopper and the material in each hopper is weighed and the material is released onto a conveyor 6. The material in each hopper may be fed in separate predetermined rates to the conveyor 6 and fed to a mixer tank 7.
