Abstract
1,210,772. Tyre cords. PIRELLI S.p.A. 19 June, 1969 [1 July, 1968], No. 30974/69. Heading D1T. A cord having high elasticity comprises a central core of metal wires twisted with a lay length of between 2 and 15 mm., and an outer layer formed of strands of metal wires twisted with a lay length of between 5 and 25 mm., the lay length of the core being not more than 0.6 times that of the strands of the outer layer. The core and strands may be twisted in the same direction, and the strands laid round the core in the reverse direction.
