[Also in Division C2] Halogen-containing hydrocarbon polymers such as polyvinyl or polyvinylidene chloride, are stabilized by addition of 0À01 to 10% by weight of a compound of formula RCOSH or RCOSCOR where R is aliphatic radical containing 4 to 23 C atoms. A plasticizer e.g. dioctyl phthalate, may be present.
