1,138,886. Seals; disc brakes. MASSEY FERGUSON G.m.b.H. 27 Nov., 1967 [25 Nov., 1966], No. 52780/66. Headings F2B, F2E and F2F. In a piston and cylinder assembly 6 for a disc brake, grit etc. is excluded from the cylinder by a rubber sealing sleeve 19 attached at one end to the piston 16 and at the other end to the cylinder 11 in a recess 15 between an end face 14 of the cylinder and a flange 13 on a liner 12 in the cylinder. The sleeve has beaded end portions 20 and 21 which fit respectively in a groove 18 in the piston and in the recess 15.
