Abstract

1,134,356. Coupling implements to tractors. FELLA-WERKE G.m.b.H. 17 May, 1967 [17 May, 1966], No. 22812/67. Heading A1P. A jib 1 rigidly fixed to an implement 26 is universally mounted on a triangular frame 2 by pivots 6, 7 and is provided with a forwardly extending bolt 15 on a plate 10 of the jib which is arranged to engage, in the transport position of the implement, in a single notch or in one of a number of notches 9 in a plate secured to the frame. This arrangement allows universal pivoting of the implement with regard to the frame in operation but prevents lateral pivoting in the transport position of the implement. An elongated hole 16 in the plate 10 allows the latter to move obliquely with regard to the pivot 6 to allow the bolt and notches to engage. To provide for lateral tilting of the implement one of the lower links 19 is connected to the frame 2 by a pin and slot connection, there being a locking lever operable to make the connection rigid. The frame 2 is also adapted for connection to draft links of either size 1 or 2.
