Abstract

1,127,011. Building enclosures for swimming pools; astragals. CLEAR SPAN Ltd. 17 Sept. 1965 [11 Aug., 1964], No. 32599/64. Headings E1A and E1R. A building such as an enclosure for a swimming pool is made up from arched members 11, 25 of extruded aluminium which are shaped as shown to clamp sheets of fibre-glass therebetween, the arches being secured together by tie-plates, reinforced underneath by strengthening girders and secured at their bases to members of extruded T-shape mounted on a low wall, see Figs. 2, 4 and 3 (not shown), respectively. The building or a part thereof may be carried on rollers mounted on rails.
