Abstract

848,650. Swimming pools. LEUTHESSER, E. G. June 2, 1959, No. 18884/59. Class 20(1) A swimming pool comprises a concrete base 42 into which is cast the lower ends of corrugated steel walls 20, the rods 38 of the base reinforcement passing through holes in the walls. The walls 20 are bolted to frames 18 secured to posts 16 cast into the base 42. The edges of the sheets 20 overlap and are bolted together with a rubber sealing strip. Curved and angled corrugations are shewn. A concrete path may be cast on the earth 50 around the top of the pool and secured to the posts 16 by reinforcing rods, Aluminium, plastics and glass fibre walls are referred to.
