1,118,181. Golf club. G. E. T. NEWBRONNER. 13 May, 1965 [13 Feb., 1964], No. 41779/63. Heading A6D. A golf club comprises a shaft and a striking head which is mounted pivotally thereon in such a manner that the lie of the club can be varied, the mounting comprising a cylinder member attached rigidly to the shaft and a socket bearing formed in the head. the centre of gravity of which lies on the pivotal axis. A locking device may be provided in the socket bearing to engage with the cylinder member and prevent unwanted movement. Weights may be serewed on to the rear side of the head.
