Abstract
1,160,321. Cyclone separator. H. HOLTER 29 March, 1967, No. 14258/67. Addition to 1,141,411. Heading B2P [Also in Division F1] In sump cleaning apparatus (see Division Fl) the discharge hood is an entrained material separator comprising a generally cylindrical casing 23 having a tangential inlet and oppositely directed separator outlets at each end of the casing having a larger flow crosssection than the outlet pipe of the sump cleaning apparatus. Exit tube 26 projects with the casing which is blanked off at its upper end by an annular plate (not shown) and has a cylindrical rubber skirt 28.
