Abstract

1,026,885. Cartons for fragile articles. UNILEVER Ltd. Aug. 18, 1964 [Aug. 20, 1963], No. 32875/63. Heading B8P. A tubular foldable container made from a single blank comprises, parallel to the lower wall 58 and the upper wall 54, a partition wall 52 supported by flaps 57 cut from the lower wall 58 and provided with orifices 53 corresponding to orifices 51 in the upper wall 54. Flaps 57 have transverse folding-lines 62 and 63. The tabs 64 are put through slits 65 in the partition wall 52 and tabs 66 are bent down to lie against the underside of the wall. The orifices 51 are formed by folding along the zig-zag lines 43, 44 which is made possible by the incisions 45 and the folding-lines 46, 47, 48, 49 and 50. In another embodiment the container consists of a bottom part and a cover part hingedly connected with each other along a longitudinal folding line.
