Abstract

The carrier is made from a single blank cut from a sheet of flat material. The sheet is so folded that its panels (10,11) form the bottom of the finished carrier. Cut-outs (18,19) at the fold lines between the side wall panels (12a,13a) and the bottom panels are shaped to form recesses in the finished carrier, which locate the bases of the containers. In addition, a flap (26C) is formed, which is folded outwards to provide a local stiffening of the side wall of the carrier at the point of support of a container.
