Abstract
1,000,182. Temperature gauges for containers. H. O. KUYAMA. April 9, 1962 [April 19, 1961], No. 13660/62. Heading B8D. [Also in Division G1] An infant's feeding bottle has temperatureindicating means comprising coloured indicators 15-17, which become visible through panels 12-14 of paraffin wax as the wax melts under the heat of the bottle contents, each panel being designed to melt at a different temperature. Seals 18-20 prevent leakage of the wax. The bottle may be of a synthetic resin or glass. A vacuum chamber may be situated outside the indicators, Fig. 6 (not shown); or the bottle wall may be of heat-insulating material. The indicators may be formed by the seals 18-20 which may be coloured, the members 15-17 being omitted. Three sets of indicators may be formed at different levels in the bottle wall, Fig. 9 (not shown).
