Abstract

L’invention concerne une boîte électrique (10) pourvue d’un corps comprenant, d’une part, une partie arrière (12) comportant une paroi de fond (11) pourvue de moyens de fixation à un support de réception et une paroi latérale (13) bordant ladite paroi de fond, et, d’autre part, une partie avant (17) comprenant une paroi latérale (18) rapportée sur ladite partie arrière de manière que la paroi latérale de la partie avant s’étende dans le prolongement de la paroi latérale de la partie arrière pour former avec cette dernière la paroi latérale du corps qui délimite un logement adapté à recevoir un mécanisme d’appareillage électrique. Selon l’invention, lesdites parois latérales des parties avant et arrière étant emboîtées l’une dans l’autre selon une direction d’emboîtement, il est prévu un joint d’étanchéité (41) interposé entre un bord arrière de la paroi latérale de la partie avant et un bord avant de la paroi latérale de la partie arrière, ledit joint d’étanchéité étant comprimé par l’emboîtement desdites parties avant et arrière, selon une direction de compression perpendiculaire à ladite direction d’emboîtement.
