Moteur thermique de véhicule automobile comprenant : - une culasse comportant un circuit de refroidissement de culasse -un carter cylindres (11) comprenant au moins un fût cylindrique (16), et un circuit de refroidissement (14c) de carter cylindres indépendant du circuit de refroidissement de culasse, -un joint de culasse (20) disposé entre la culasse et le carter cylindres, Caractérisé en ce que ledit joint comporte une protubérance (30) entourant une au moins une ouverture traversante (32) en vis-à-vis avec le au moins un fût cylindrique (16) et comportant un conduit (33) pour la circulation de fluide refroidissement du circuit de refroidissement de la culasse.
