Abstract

Un dispositif de détection comprend un miroir parabolique (1) et plusieurs détecteurs de rayonnement (2-5). Les détecteurs sont positionnés dans le plan focal (O, X'-X , Y'-Y) du miroir avec des décalages respectifs selon une direction commune déterminée (Y'-Y). Le dispositif de détection comprend en outre un système de sélection relié à chacun des détecteurs (2-5), agencé pour sélectionner successivement chacun des détecteurs et pour transmettre un signal de réception issu du détecteur sélectionné. Les décalages des détecteurs (d2-d5) sont choisis de sorte qu'un diagramme de gain de réception du dispositif présente, entre deux maxima de gain successifs dans ledit diagramme et correspondant respectivement à l'un des détecteurs, un minimum de gain inférieur de moins de 3,0 dB à chacun desdits maxima de gain. Un tel dispositif de détection permet de balayer une zone selon plusieurs sous-fauchées juxtaposées à partir d'un engin de survol de ladite zone.
