Abstract

The disposable lighter case (1',1") has an internal cavity (2) open at one end which can be shaped and sized to receive several alternative commercial lighters. There is a deformable metal spring (6) mounted inside the cavity which endures centralising and holding the lighter so that it can only be withdrawn voluntarily. The spring is formed from a piece of thin sheet metal cut and folded to form two parallel arched leaf springs. There are also two tongues, which lock the spring in place, inserted in two side housings (10) located at the top of the case internal wall. The cavity cross section is rectangular and the spring is located on one of its large sides.
