Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux dispositifs d'affichage lumineux, utilisés notamment pour l'instrumentation à bord d'avions. Le dispositif d'affichage lumineux qui doit être vu, lorsqu'il est activé, dans un environnement à haute luminosité, comprend un arrangement destiné à empêcher la lumière ambiante de pénétrer à l'intérieur du dispositif et de prévenir le risque d'ambiguïté pour un observateur quant à son état réel, activé ou non activé L'arrangement comprend des moyens transmetteurs de lumière comportant une surface visible ayant une finition mate et une surface finement polie à l'opposé de la surface visible. La finition mate de la surface visible provoque la diffusion de la lumière ambiante et réduit le risque de pénétration de cette lumière à l'intérieur du dispositif et la surface finement polie permet la transmission, avec un rendement élevé, de la lumière provenant de moyens émetteurs de lumière. Application aux dispositifs d'affichage lumineux, en particulier ceux qui doivent être observés dans un environnement à haute luminosité.
