Abstract

La présente invention concerne la fabrication de billes en matériau vitreux. Selon l'invention, des particules du matériau vitreux sont chauffées avec agitation dans un mélange de carbone très poreux et de sels carbonatés décomposables par la chaleur en présence de carbone dans le domaine de température correspondant, pour ledit matériau, aux viscosités comprises entre 10**6 et 10**3,5 poises. L'invention s'applique notamment aux verres céramisables.
