Abstract

L'invention concerne un joint d'étanchéité pour chemises humides de cylindres de moteurs à combustion interne, constitué par une applique 4 en matière élastomère fixée sur la face inférieure de la bague d'étanchéité 1 constituant le joint de culasse et s'insérant, par la pression du montage, dans la partie supérieure de l'interstice 12 séparant la chemise 8 du carter 9 de façon à interdire le passage du réfrigérant provenant de l'enceinte 11. La combinaison du joint de chemise avec le joint de culasse facilite la fabrication et le montage du joint.
