Abstract

Anti-tank missile fired by a hand held weapon contains an extra propellant, fired after launching to increase range and flexibility of use. The charge is fired by delayed charge set off by combustion following firing. Missile then rotates for stability with a stabilising charge and a gyro stabilising chamber collecting emitted gas which is expelled tangentially. This charge is ball percussion fired from a chain of a primer and also including a firing pin. The stabilising charge is of thin powder blocks extending into the chamber.
