Abstract
The prosthesis is particularly for insertion inside a passage and fixing to its walls, and has a hollow sleeve with an external face fitting against the passage walls and an internal one forming a passage through it. The external and internal faces are formed at least partly by flexible and impermeable membranes, extensible at least in the peripheral direction. Between them are transverse membranes extensible in the peripheral direction, and impermeable lengthwise ones, joining them together forming sealed chambers. A medium is introduced into the chambers to inflate them and increase the external and internal diameters of the sleeve.
