965,431. Pneumatic tents. GOUROCK ROPEWORK CO. Ltd. Aug. 2, 1960 [May 1, 1959], No. 74917/59. Heading E1A. An inflatable structure comprises an outer gas impermeable skin 1 and a horizontal surface 3 attached thereto so as to define a chamber 4 of segmental shaped cross-section, pressurizing means 14 being provided for said chamber 4. The interior 5 of the structure may also be pressurized by means 16 or it may be provided with a peripheral side wall so expanded, see Fig. 3 (not shown). A valve 23 may be provided between the chambers 4, 5 and both embodiments provided with reinforcing tapes 8. Specification 965,432 is referred to.
