Abstract

The gardening tool has a common handle (1) to which are fitted various attachments. The seating (3) on the handle is in the form of a flat surface (4) at 90 deg. to the handle axis. Inside this seating is a T shaped location slot (6), opening onto the flat surface. The working tool (5) also has a T shaped clearance slot (8) and locates over a similar tongue (7) forming the rear portion of a clamp (11). This holds the tool against the seating face and the assembly can be secured by two rivets (12, 13, 14) or, if the attachments are to be interchangeable, removable fasteners can be used.
