Abstract

Cutter blade (2) releasably connected to a handle (1) for use in a cultivator, having on its upper side, where the handle is affixed, a covering wear plate made of hard steel or similar material. In this wear plate, (7) the head (6) of a fixture bolt (5) is completely inserted. The wear plate is so shaped that when in operation, the movement of earth over the top side of the blade is so conducted that it is maintained at some distance from the point where the bolt head (6) is located. The wear plate is slanted (8) on its front side. The top side of the blade, that of the wear plate and the front side of the blade handle form a flowing contour.
