Abstract

The connector comprises a rigid insulating support and a second similar support, provided with conductive connection tracks, guided in an insertion and extraction direction parallel to the first support. Resilient contact elements have one end fixed relative to the first support and an active zone contacting the conductive tracks when the two supports are slotted together. A control mechanism, comprising at least one movable shade, acts on the contact elements for opening or closing the latter, each contact element having two branches inclined to each other and to the direction of slide movement and guided by the slide, the junction between them forming the active zones.
