Abstract
Le procédé de traitement d'objets par la chaleur présente des perfectionnements par rapport à celui décrit dans le brevet principal. La circulation des gaz se fait entre les objets verticalement de bas en haut dans la zone de refroidissement. Dans un four tunnel fonctionnant suivant le procédé, pour séparer les deux courants d'objets, il est prévu une paroi intermédiaire dans le plan médian du canal avec des ouvertures en haut et en bas, et, au-dessus et au-dessous des courants d'objets, des chambres intermédiaires 11, 16 dont la hauteur correspond pratiquement à celle des ouvertures, les chambres intermédiaires existant au-dessus de l'installation de transport étant obtenues au moyen de cales 10. Utilisable notamment pour la cuisson des briques..
