Abstract

The invention concerns a communication system which comprises a plurality of subscriber stations 42, which are in RF connection with a base station 10, which has several sequentially occurring time slots, each time slot being assigned to a particular subscriber station 42. The system according to the invention comprises means 16 of altering either the frequency or the time slot configuration, or both, in event of worsening of the transmission quality as a result of change in modulation, frequency channel interference, equipment fault, or the like, or as a result of several additional subscriber stations coming on line. The invention also concerns a method for determination of time slots and frequency channels for selected subscribers. <IMAGE>
