PROCEDIMIENTO PARA AUMENTAR EL PESO MOLECULAR DE RESINAS EPOXIDICAS. SE HACE REACCIONAR UNA RESINA EPOXIDICA QUE ES UN GLICIDIL-ETER DE UN FENOL DIVALENTE QUE TIENE UN PROMEDIO DE MAS DE UN GRUPO GLICIDIL POR MOLECULA CON UN COMPONENTE FENOLICO DIVALENTE EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR DE FOSFONIO, EMPLEANDO LOS DOS PRIMEROS COMPONENTES EN CANTIDADES TALES QUE LA RELACION DE EQUIVALENTES DE HIDROXILO FENOLICO A EPOXICO ES TAL QUE PROPORCIONA UN PORCENTAJE TEORICO DE EPOXIDO DEL PRODUCTO DE REACCION RESULTANTE COMPRENDIDO ENTRE 2,7 Y 14. EL CATALIZADOR SE EMPLEA EN UNA CANTIDAD TAL QUE LA RESINA EPOXIDICA QUE RESULTA CUANDO SE SOMETE UNA MEZCLA DE LOS TRES COMPONENTES A CONDICIONES DE REACCION ADECUADAS PRODUCE UNA RESINA EPOXIDICA EN LA QUE LA DIFERENCIA OBTENIDA AL RESTAR EL PORCENTAJE DE EPOXIDO OBTENIDO POR ANALISIS DEL PORCENTAJE DE EPOXIDO TEORICO ES DE 0,5 A 4.
