EL SUSTRATO SE METE EN UN BAÑO GALVANOPLASTICO, HACIENDO PASAR UNA DENSIDAD DE CORRIENTE ALREDEDOR DE DOS MILESIMAS Y MEDIA DE AMPERIO POR CENTIMETRO CUADRADO Y ESTANDO COMPUESTO EL BAÑO DE UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE PH COMPRENDIDO ENTRE 4 Y 12, CON CIERTAS CANTIDADES DE IONES NIQUEL Y AMINA SOLUBLE, EN UNA RELACION MOLAR COMPRENDIDA DE UNO A CUATRO, SALES CONDUCTORAS, INERTES, SOLUBLES Y COMPATIBLES CON EL BAÑO, SIN SOBREPASAR SU LIMITE DE SOLUBILIDAD, Y UN COMPUESTO DE AZUFRE DE UN METAL ALCALINO COMO AGENTE HUMIDIFICANTE ANIONICO.
