Abstract

Refining head and refining disc corresponding thereto, for use in a disc refining apparatus, the disc of which comprises a pair of opposite and spaced-apart side faces, a central opening defining a circumferentially extending inner edge, and an outer edge which extends circumferentially with a certain radial separation with respect to said internal edge, characterized in that each one of the lateral faces of said disk has a refining work surface adapted to proceed to the refining of the pulp.
