Abstract

Un material de embalaje biodegradable termosellable, que comprende un sustrato fibroso (1) y capas de revestimiento poliméricas (2-8) que están extruidas sobre el mismo, caracterizado porque el material incluye una capa de revestimiento interna (2) que está colocada sobre el sustrato fibroso y que contiene polilactida y un poliéster biodegradable que está mezclado con ella para mejorar la adhesión entre la capa y el sustrato fibroso, y una capa de revestimiento externa (3) que constituye la superficie externa del material y que contiene polilactida y un poliéster biodegradable que está mezclado con ella para mejorar la capacidad de termosellado de la capa, y la porción de polilactida en la capa interna (2) es mayor que en la capa externa (3).

Los resultados indican que los poliésteres añadidos mejoran la adhesión de polilactida, que se indica alcanzando una adhesión perfecta con pesos de capa de revestimiento inferiores. En términos generales, cuando se incrementa la porción de poliéster en la mezcla, la adhesión mejora, pero cuando se usa un peso de capa factible de 25 g/m2, se puede alcanzar una adhesión aceptable con una porción de mezcla baja de un 10-20%. También es evidente que el copolímero acrílico añadido mejora adicionalmente la adhesión.
