Abstract
Una película de poliéster biaxialmente orientada que comprende poliéster y al menos un estabilizador de la hidrólisis seleccionado de un éster glicidílico de un ácido monocarboxílico ramificado, en la que el ácido monocarboxílico tiene de 5 a 50 átomos de carbono, en la que dicho estabilizador de la hidrólisis está presente en la película en forma de su producto de reacción con al menos algunos de los grupos terminales de dicho poliéster, y en la que dicho producto de reacción se obtiene mediante la reacción del estabilizador de la hidrólisis con los grupos terminales del poliéster en presencia de un catión metálico seleccionado del grupo que consiste en cationes metálicos del grupo I y grupo II.
