Abstract

The insulated glass pane (1-5) has high performance thermal insulation around the edge and a frame (15) that covers the edge, holding the frame on its peripheral surface or one side surface. In the edge part of the pane side which is not covered by the frame, an insulating element (20,21,30,31) is provided that contains high performance thermal insulating material. The insulating element is integrated in the adjacent wall structure and its boundary edge rests against the pane of the insulating glass by a seal (24,25). The seal is fixed to the insulating element.
