- Overhead cable transport facility, comprising a departure station (1) and an arrival station (1) connected by cables (2a, 2b) defining two traffic lane (3) each consisting of two stationary carrying cables (2a) parallel to each other and of a scrolling traction cable (2b) extending between the two carrying cables, the transport facility further comprising a carriage (7) comprising two rolling elements (8) each designed to cooperate with one of said carrying cables and hooking means (9) designed to be coupled to said traction cable of a traffic lane, said carriage further comprising two lateral uprights (10) designed to cooperate with said rolling elements, the spacing between the lateral uprights being greater than the spacing between the carrying cables so that the lateral uprights cooperate with the rolling elements from outside the traffic lane, said transport facility comprising a vehicle (4) hanging from the carriage to be moved along the traffic lanes, each station comprising at least one return pulley (6) of said traction cable designed to return the traction cable from one traffic lane to another, characterized in that said carriage comprises a central upright (11) designed to cooperate with said hooking means and a cross member (12) connecting said lateral uprights and said central upright between them, said cross member extending under the carrying and traction cables, and in that each station comprises at least one anchor wheel (5) disposed in the center of the station between the traction cable and designed to secure the carrying cables, and in that each station further comprises first and second guideways (21a, 21b) designed to move the vehicle from one traffic lane to another and instead of the carrying and traction cables, said first guideway (21a) replaces the carrying cable and extends to the periphery of the station, and said second guideway (21b) replaces the carrying cable and extends inside the station, said at least one anchor wheel substantially overhanging said second guideway to allow upward deflection of the carrying cable it replaces.
- Transport facility according to claim 1, characterized in that each station is equipped with a temporary disengagement system (13) of the hooking means of said traction cable, said temporary disengagement system being disposed below said return pulley so as to allow the insertion of the vehicle from one traffic lane to another, each station further comprising cable deflection means (14) adapted to deflect the traction cable from said disengagement system to the pulley in a substantially continuous upward direction, said pulley being orientated in the prolongation of the deflection of the traction cable so that the deflected traction cable and the pulley extend in the same plane P.
- Transport facility according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it further comprises at least one pylon (15) between the departure station and the arrival station, said pylon carries the carrying and traction cables of the two traffic lanes, said pylon further comprising for each traffic lane two suspended shoes (16) designed to support the carrying cables, the two suspended shoes being arranged to allow the movement of the lateral uprights of the carriage from outside the traffic lane.
- Transport facility according to claim 3, characterized in that the pylon (15) comprises a compression system (18) of the carrying cable disposed in each shoe, said compression system being designed to deflect the carrying cable substantially towards the ground (S), said pylon further comprising a guide means (19) of the rolling elements of the carriage arranged on the shoe, said guide means being designed to cooperate with the rolling elements of the carriage instead of the carrying cable during its deflection by the deflection means.
- Transport facility according to claim 4, characterized in that each shoe comprises a gutter (20) designed to guide the carrying cable before and after its deflection by the compression system.
