Definitions
- the present invention relates to a condominium multimedia communication system.
- the present invention relates to a condominium multimedia communication system, a type of communication system that provides information on a plurality of multiple user services, such as residential condominiums .
- communications destined for a single family nucleus or a whole condominium are traditionally sent by ordinary mail, or otherwise in paper form, and placed in traditional mailboxes.
- Traditional mailboxes consist of spaces where paper communications are located and accumulated for a single recipient or group, such as a condominium.
- a first known solution is described in the patent application DE202016000632A which provides a multi-channel video counter-system with access to advanced digital services, comprising a two-wire communication bus arranged to enable audio, video and data communications in various communication channels, at least one road bell camera connected to the communication bus, at least one power supply device connected to the communication bus arranged to power supply, at least one user terminal connected to the at least one road bell camera, and wherein the at least one terminal is a video countercurrent station terminal, characterized in that the at least one terminal is connected to the communication bus .
- Advanced digital services are provided by the Internet and are accessible from said at least one video terminal by at least one channel of said communication bus when said at least one channel is available for data.
- an integrated intercom and security system includes a local integrated intercom and security system and a remote communication in communication with the local intercom and security system via a globally accessible communication network.
- an intercom set of the type comprises at least one external signal transceiver unit, of the type selected among wired units and remotely operated units, which is arranged outside a building, and at least one internal signal transceiver unit, of the type selected among wired units and remotely operated units, which is arranged inside a respective building unit, apartment, which is present in the building; at least one internal unit comprising at least one respective control element for sending an alarm signal; the at least one external unit and the at least one internal unit comprising at least one deterrent device, which is selected among a loudspeaker and a visual indicator, designed to emit an alarm signal.
- Another problem of these known solutions is that it doesn't have any system to localize the condominium and the user and customize the information to be received based on condominium localization.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a condominium multimedia communication system and a related method of use that can provide users with a range of information without the use of paper media, that is easy to use and permit the localization of the condominium, having characteristics that overcome the limits that still affect condominium communication systems with reference to the prior art.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a condominium multimedia communication system that allows to limit the size and accumulation of paper waste generated by known condominium communication systems. Still, the object of the present invention is to provide a condominium multimedia communication system that allows receiving a reading confirmation from the recipient.
- a condominium multimedia communication system is provided, as defined in claim 1.
- Figure 1 shows a block diagram of a condominium multimedia communication system, according to the invention
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic view of a primary device of the condominium multimedia communication system, according to the invention
- FIG. 3 shows a schematic view of a condominium building in which the condominium multimedia communication system is installed, according to the invention
- a condominium multimedia communication system 100 comprises: a server 101, a primary device 102, connected to said server 101, and at least a secondary device 103 connected to the primary device 102.
- At least one secondary device 103 is installed in at least one condominium accommodation.
- the primary device 102 connected to the server 101 and placed in the entrance hall, is connected to the intercom system of a traditional condominium.
- the primary device 102 is configured to send an acoustic signal to the intercom when it receives a communication direct to the condominium from the server 101.
- the primary device 102 comprises a screen 104, preferably of the touch screen type, a speaker 105, and a microphone 106.
- the primary device 102 further comprises a video camera 107.
- the primary device 102 is installed in a common compartment of the condominium, for example in the hall, and is associated with a number.
- the secondary device 103 comprises a screen 104a, a speaker 105a and a microphone 106a.
- the secondary device 103 further comprises a video camera 107a.
- the primary device 102 and each secondary device 103 is equipped with at least one emergency button 109 that allows to make a phone call to emergency numbers such as police, emergency medical, fire, or even the taxi service.
- Each emergency button 109 allows to send the call to the emergency number selected by automatically communicating the address and the house number associated with the condominium.
- the secondary device 103 allows the user to communicate during the emergency call by the loudspeaker 105a and the microphone 106a.
- the secondary device 103 includes a notification element 110.
- This notification element 110 may consist of an icon that appears on the screen 104 of the secondary device 103 or in a beep or bright signal, or in a combination of them.
- the server 101 communicates with the primary device 102 by sending communications directed to the condominium, for example, messages issued by local or local authorities and directed to the population, or advertising. Such communications are displayed on the screen 104 of the primary device 102.
- the primary device 102 then transmits communications to each secondary device 103.
- the server 101 sends to the primary device 102 multimedia advertising messages consisting of images of offered products or services, which are then sent to the secondary device 103.
- Advertising messages can scroll through the advertising messages visualized on the screen 104, 104a by means of the touch screen. Advertising messages also run automatically after a set amount of time in which the system 100 is not in use, or is paused.
- the primary device 102 is connected to the condominium intercom system 108 and the secondary device 103 consists of an intercom connected to the condominium intercom system 108.
- connection of the primary device 102 to the condominium intercom system 108 allows a single resident to receive, by means of an interphone ring installed in his home, the notification of receiving a conditional message also intended for him.
- This message, received from the primary device 102 via the server 101 may be, for example, a communication of the municipal administration or the condominium administrator.
- the primary device 102 is provided with a sound conversion system of the received message.
- the received communication or message is transmitted to the resident through the loudspeaker of the intercom system 108.
- the resident receives notification via the secondary device 103 for each message received and intended for it.
- the resident can listen to the contents of the communication directly from the intercom installed in his home.
- the condominium multimedia communication system 100 includes additional services such as waste management, public transport information, or time of essential commercial services. Such services are accessible through applications 111 displayed at the top of the screen 104, 104a.
- the user can receive and transmit information about the desired service by selecting an icon corresponding to the application 111 associated with the desired service.
- the user selects the corresponding icon on the screen 104, 104a and receives information about the separate collection. Such information can be displayed on the screen 104, 104a, or listened through the speaker 105.
- the user can send information via the touch screen 104, 104a, such as the waste collection request at his home address.
- the condominium multimedia communication system 100 includes commercial services. This service permits a resident to buy a product advertised on the condominium multimedia communication system 100, selecting the corresponding icon on the screen 104, 104a.
- the touch screen 104, 104a is configured to display advertising communication, to select the desired product and order it, to transmit a product order and to automatically communicate the condominium building address and house number.
- the condominium multimedia communication system 100 automatically transmits to the store the product order, localization of the condominium and resident data.
- a first aid cassette and illustrative videos are comprised in the condominium multimedia communication system 100 and are displayed on screen 104 and indicate first aid maneuvers.
- At least one of the primary device 102 and the secondary device 103 are provided with sensors to detect air quality.
- the user can receive information on pollution and air quality in his area .
- the air quality data detected by sensors are transmitted to central offices and local authorities.
- At least one of the primary device 102 and the secondary device 103 are provided with accelerators for monitoring earthquakes.
- data detected by accelerators for monitoring earthquakes are transmitted to central offices and local authorities.
- At least one of the primary device 102 and the secondary device 103 are provided with sensors to detect smoke detectors. According to an aspect of the invention, at least one of the primary device 102 and the secondary device 103 are provided with flooding sensors.
