Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmeübertrager, insbesondere Abgaskühler, mit einteilig oder aus zwei schalenartigen Scheiben gebildeten Rohren, die einen ersten und einen zweiten Fluidkanal bilden, wobei die jeweiligen Fluidkanäle benachbart zueinander angeordnet sind, wobei der erste Fluidkanal an zumindest einem seiner Enden offen ausgebildet ist zum Ein- und/oder Ausströmen des ersten Fluids, wobei die Rohre an den Enden durch eine Abstufung nach innen oder außen so ausgebildet sind, dass die zweiten Fluidkanäle stirnseitig verschlossen sind, wobei die Abstufung in den Eckbereichen des Rohres eine größere Ausdehnung T in Rohrlängsrichtung hat, als zwischen den Eckbereichen.
