Definitions

  • the invention relates to a baby carrier as it is used for the comfortable and healthy carrying of babies and toddlers.
  • baby carriers are known in a variety of construction. Particularly well known are baby carriers such as the "Amazon Carry Star” or those of Manduca or BabyBjörn and many more (see on the Internet), which influence the attitude of the child in the stretcher by various adjustment options, so that the child with a round back a suitable Anhock- Spreading position takes and develops. They all have a textile back support, at the lower end of which a mostly padded hip belt is fastened, while corresponding straps or straps, which may also be padded, are fastened or fastened near or at the upper two corners and laterally on the back support.
  • This is on the one hand firmly connected to the upper side of the shoulder straps and on which also the upper ends of the backrest can be clipped, while the lower ends of the straps with the side edges of the middle part of the back support are connectable.
  • baby carriers with a textile back support, at least partially padded Waist belt, two straps and two wings extending from the back support, which can be attached to the hip belt are from the US Pat. No. 8,172,116 B1 , of the US 2010/308088 A1 as well as the KR 2009 0008187 U known. Even in the case of the latter pamphlets there is at least no possibility to change the seated position of the child.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a baby carrier of the above type, which allows a comfortable and healthy carrying babies and toddlers by the seating is optimally optimized in a simple manner.
  • a preferably padded seat surface is formed between hip belt and back support, which is preferably structurally different from both the back support and the hip belt or at least delimited accordingly.
  • the lower edge of the seat is fastened to the hip belt and the upper edge of the seat surface to the back support, wherein in each case a visible seam is preferably provided between the parts.
  • the seat has a slightly moon-shaped curved longitudinal or transverse extent, at least on the underside adapted to the preferably existing tail of the hip belt.
  • the seat continues on both sides over the side edges of the back support out padded away, in the manner of lateral projections or wings.
  • these padded extensions or wings can continue in the lower ends of the risers, whereby these extension ends are pulled in the applied state of the stretcher laterally upwards in the direction of the person wearing, representing a total of a sickle or moon shape or preserving.
  • the legs of the baby or toddler, namely at the thighs are pushed up sideways held.
  • the resident child will have both an anatomical squat-spreading posture and a back rounded by the flexed hip. Also possible pressure points are avoided by the lateral edge of the back support on buttocks and / or thighs.
  • the seat surface extensions on both sides beyond the back support out about 5 - 15 cm, preferably about 10 cm, from, or put in the execution with connection to the straps, according to the risers on.
  • an optimally long, padded support length for the legs is obtained.
  • the two extensions or wings are laterally free and can be connected in different ways on the underside with the hip belt sections releasably, a padded widening of the hip belt representing. But you can also, as described in more detail below, remain open on the underside and turned inside and with its ends on the inner support inside or outside or be fastened or coupled with each other, forming a seat bag, in which the child with optimally bent legs as in a nest.
  • the baby carrier has a width-adjustable seat.
  • the seat surface laterally detached from the waist belt or attached to this wider.
  • This solution or wider attachment not only affect the projecting wings or extensions, but on both sides z. B. up to a quarter of the fastening seam, which is equal to the width of the back support, the seat to be separated with the waist belt.
  • different fixing means may be provided, such as hook-loop closure means, buttons or snaps.
  • the baby carrier advantageously has a width-adjustable seat surface, wherein the seat can be delimited from the back support.
  • the leg openings are well padded.
  • an inner support in the form of an inner panel, the lower end of which is attached to the hip belt and divides further up Y-shaped and in the carrier
  • This allows an optimal adaptation to the needs of small babies.
  • By attaching the lower edge of the back support to this creates namely a nest or Kuhlenförmiger bag that supports a natural sitting posture of the baby.
  • this inner support allows easy and safe handling; The baby can not fall down from the stretcher, even with the hip belt open.
  • the lower part of the back support ie where the butt of the baby is thus thus the bridge between the legs / knees, detached on both sides of the waist belt or can be attached wider.
  • the attachment can be achieved by means of fixing, in particular by means of snaps, or a hook-loop closure means.
  • the seat of the baby carrier is adaptable to the size and age of the baby. This is important because the land, i. the seat should be sufficient for anatomical carrying from the popliteal fossa to the popliteal fossa and should therefore be adapted to the growing child.
  • the seat widenings can also be fastened together with a fixing agent.
  • the width is variable, wherein the fixing means or a part of the fixation of the two side parts may be different from each other, e.g. a band between the two seat side panels (wings), which is then e.g. is in front of the baby's stomach.
  • the extension has a connection means, to which a connection countermeasure is provided both on the inner support and on the hip belt, preferably also on one another.
  • the parts detachable on both sides can thus be detached from the waist belt and fastened together, eg with a band which connects both side parts and is adjustable so that a kind of bag results in which Baby can be seated and carried in a physiological sitting posture.
  • the extensions / wings may be secured in different positions on the inner support, such as on the inside or outside thereof, to allow for more variations in the adjustment of the bridge width. Likewise, they can then be attached to the hip belt in several ways.
  • the web can be fixed in different positions, such as a band steplessly narrower or further apart positioned and fixed.
  • the back support is designed to be adjustable in length, in order to be able to be adapted to the size of the child.
  • the length of the back support can be adjusted so that its upper edge, which supports the head and neck of the child, can be folded up and down, the back support lengthening or shortening.
  • the stretcher advantageously has a tab / padding which hides and cushions the fixative which connects the back support to the inner panel / shoulder straps so that the fixative can not disturb or push the baby and thus fixate the back support closer to the shoulder straps can be.
  • the two wings can each be equipped with two connection options, on the one hand for connecting, for example, to the backrest, on the other hand, with the above-described second connection options.
  • the two wings either as a structural module or as two separate building modules, could be subsequently arranged as accessories for a baby carrier, wherein preferably the baby carrier is already set up by already having corresponding counter-pressure buttons or other counter-connecting means.
  • a fabric insert is present on the two side edges of the back support, above the seat. If the seat is set narrow, this fabric insert can be shirred or raised by fixative. If the seat is wider, the fabric insert can be widened or opened. This automatic adjustment of the lumbar support by the use of fabric to the size of the seat ensures that the baby can sit comfortably without pressure points and well supported in the stretcher.
  • the baby carrier may have a baby insert, which is at least partially attached or attachable to the inside of the back support.
  • a baby insert which is at least partially attached or attachable to the inside of the back support.
  • It preferably consists of two independent, but substantially identical soft, lightweight, textile fabric strips that can be attached differently.
  • these can be fastened or attachable on the one hand at or near the upper outer ends of the back support while they are placed inside the back support down in opposite directions and are crossed after inserting the baby under his butt, then again over the body diagonally upwards and to be releasably attached at or near the upper ends of the back support with its other end, much like two opposing hammocks in which the baby sits transversely.
  • the squat-spreading attitude of the still very small baby is promoted at the same time, while at the same time adapting to its still small size.
  • the baby feels secure and has plenty of freedom of movement for his legs.
  • buckle systems are preferably used as fixing means for the inserts, wherein the first fabric of the infant insert may be fixedly attached with its first end to the right edge of the back support, while with its second end on the left edge of the back support by the first fixing means, in particular a buckle system, releasably attachable. But it can also be provided releasably both ends.
  • the baby carrier has an inner panel, so an inner support, the two can be crossed in the applied state strips of the infant insert be attached in the same way with its two ends to the inner side facing the back support on this inner support or be.
  • the fixing of at least one end of the two fabric strips are adjustable in length and mounted, for example, in a buckle system each second end of the fabric can be adjusted so that the fabric as much as necessary pulled through the buckle and then is fixed in the buckle.
  • each second end of the fabric can be adjusted so that the fabric as much as necessary pulled through the buckle and then is fixed in the buckle.
  • the back support itself have a length adjustment, z. B. by known gathering agent, which are located along the two side edges of the back support as z. B. also in the DE 20 2009 002 480 U1 are described.
  • the adjustability of the height of the back support, as well as the adjustability of the seat and the width of the back support, may be important, and most importantly, the size of the baby to be carried. As a rule, a taller child needs a slightly higher back support, while for a smaller baby, it needs to be adjusted slightly lower, so that the head and neck area has enough hold.
  • an adjusting means may be provided at the upper edge of the back support, which allows the upper edge is adjustable for good support in the neck region.
  • This adjustability is done, for example by shirring, rolling or folding the upper edge of the back support, which consists of a soft padded material or should exist.
  • This material and the adjustability of the upper edge of the back support provide good support of the head and neck area of the infant, without fear of pressure points.
  • the adjustability can be used to make sense that the baby does not sink too deep in the stretcher.
  • two recesses or slots may be provided in the upper edge of the back support, which extend from above in the longitudinal direction substantially parallel to side edges of the back support, at a predetermined distance from the side edges. They thereby divide the upper edge of the back support in three parts, namely in two lateral, possibly narrower buckle parts, which continue at the preferably padded longitudinal side edges or continue this and in a central part. At the two buckle parts, the buckles or fasteners are arranged, the counterparts are provided on the risers and their shoulder portion. Due to this three-partedness, the upper edge of the back support can be made more flexible by partial shirring, rolling or folding and can be more stable than in the variant with the complete gathering or the free turnover of the complete upper edge.
  • the middle part of the upper edge each with an adjustable fixing means with the two buckle parts connected or connectable.
  • the middle part can be targeted rolled or reduced, but he would remain well attached to the two side buckle parts.
  • the adjusting means engages only on the central part of the upper edge of the back support.
  • a further fixing means is provided on an outer side of the back support, z.
  • hook-loop closure means buttons, snaps or webbing.
