- the spring element is formed by plug contacts. This makes it possible to easily remove the surge when the latch is released, because by the spring element of the surge arrester is at least partially pushed out of the lower part (opposite to the insertion direction), so that it is taken by the user in a simple manner by hand and out of the Lower part can be removed.
- this is known to form the spring element by a plug-in contact or a plug-in element which is forked or formed with resilient legs, wherein the spring element corresponding to the parts of the surge arrester in the form of plug contacts in the insertion direction have wedge-shaped tapered contact surfaces, in Insert position on the legs under resilient bias of the legs.
- the wedge-like contact surfaces are formed on a solid metal contact element, which is connected to the surge arrester.
- a problem that arises in this arrangement is that although the surge arrester is plugged into a suitable manner with the lower part, but in this case the wedge-shaped contact pieces can be moved when plugging in the insertion direction, so that an undesirable mechanical stress on the contact strips is effected where the wedge-shaped contact pieces are attached in particular by soldering.
- This is particularly disadvantageous in particular with respect to the second contact strip, because this second contact strip is guided via a corresponding contact plate to the second wedge-shaped contact piece and the connection between the contact strip and the contact plate forms a connection point which is releasable in the event of a fault, for example a solder joint.
- This solder joint is influenced in the handling of the pluggable surge arrester by shear forces when the corresponding wedge-shaped contact piece is inserted into the resilient contacts of the lower part.
- a surge arrester of the type indicated above is known from DE 10 2008 031 917 A1 known.

Description
The invention relates to a pluggable surge arrester according to the preamble of
In particular, this is known to form the spring element by a plug-in contact or a plug-in element which is forked or formed with resilient legs, wherein the spring element corresponding to the parts of the surge arrester in the form of plug contacts in the insertion direction have wedge-shaped tapered contact surfaces, in Insert position on the legs under resilient bias of the legs. Preferably, the wedge-like contact surfaces are formed on a solid metal contact element, which is connected to the surge arrester.
A problem that arises in this arrangement is that although the surge arrester is plugged into a suitable manner with the lower part, but in this case the wedge-shaped contact pieces can be moved when plugging in the insertion direction, so that an undesirable mechanical stress on the contact strips is effected where the wedge-shaped contact pieces are attached in particular by soldering. This is particularly disadvantageous in particular with respect to the second contact strip, because this second contact strip is guided via a corresponding contact plate to the second wedge-shaped contact piece and the connection between the contact strip and the contact plate forms a connection point which is releasable in the event of a fault, for example a solder joint. This solder joint is influenced in the handling of the pluggable surge arrester by shear forces when the corresponding wedge-shaped contact piece is inserted into the resilient contacts of the lower part.
Based on this prior art, the present invention seeks to provide a pluggable surge, which avoids a mechanical load on the connection between the wedge-shaped contact pieces and the corresponding contact strips or contact plates during the insertion process. It should Cross-sectional reductions in the contact pieces or the like or holes in these are avoided.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird vorgeschlagen, dass ein erstes Isolierstück quer zur Steckrichtung parallel zum Längsverlauf der kurzen Schmalseite auf das erste Kontaktstück aufgesteckt ist und mit einem Steg bis unter das zweite Kontaktstück ragt und ein zweites Isolierstück quer zum ersten Isolierstück auf das zweite Kontaktstück aufgesteckt ist und mit Steckvorsprüngen in passende Ausnehmungen im Steg des erstenTo solve this problem it is proposed that a first insulating piece is attached transversely to the insertion direction parallel to the longitudinal course of the short narrow side of the first contact piece and protrudes with a web to below the second contact piece and a second insulating piece is attached transversely to the first insulating piece on the second contact piece and with plug-in projections in matching recesses in the bridge of the first
Insulating piece engages, so that both contact pieces are held immovably at least in the insertion direction and against the insertion direction of the two Isolierstücken, wherein a unilaterally open cuboid housing part is provided, in which the shell part is drawer-like inserted, wherein the insulating pieces and the housing part in mounting target position interlocking locking or locking means are provided.
An alternative solution is that a first insulating piece is placed transversely to the direction of insertion parallel to the transverse direction of the short narrow side of the contact pieces from above or below and a second insulating against the direction of insertion of the first insulating piece from below or on top of or inserted into the first insulating piece and mating recesses in the wall of the first insulating piece engages, so that both contact pieces are held immovable at least in the insertion direction and preferably against the insertion direction of the two Isolierstücken, wherein a unilaterally open cuboid housing part is provided, in which the shell part is drawer-like inserted, wherein on the insulator and the housing part in mounting target position interlocking Locking or locking means are provided.
In this embodiment, the wedge-shaped contact pieces are preferably formed as solid metal castings, which may not be integrally formed with the contact strip or may be formed with the contact plate, but are soldered thereto to produce the electrically conductive connection and mechanical connection. A first such wedge-shaped contact piece is soldered to the first contact strip, which protrudes from the short narrow side. A second such contact piece is on soldered to the angled portion of the contact plate, which in turn is guided along the long narrow side and is preferably soldered to the second contact strip, the connection of these elements is solved in case of failure of the overvoltage protection element to signal a faulty contact and to separate the current flow through the overvoltage protection element.
Thus, when plugging in the surge arrester, these wedge-shaped contact pieces do not act on the corresponding contact strips or contact sheets in such a way that they are loaded in the insertion direction, the first and second insulating piece is provided. According to the first solution indicated, the first insulating piece is attached laterally parallel to the course of the short narrow side, while the second insulating piece is plugged parallel to the plug-in direction of the pluggable surge arrester. By this locking the contact pieces are held securely in the insulating pieces and occurring during the insertion process of the surge arrester forces are absorbed by the contact pieces. These insulating pieces are in turn in the desired mounting position when the jacket part is inserted with the contact pieces in the one-sided open cuboid housing part, latched or locked thereto, so that a relative displacement of the insulating pieces relative To exclude the housing part. In normal use of the pluggable surge arrester can thus be carried out relative to the surge arrester, so that an undesirable mechanical stress associated with the contact pieces contact strip or contact plates is excluded shift of the contacts.
In the alternative solution, a first and second insulating piece is also provided. In this solution, however, the first insulating piece is attached transversely to the plugging direction of the pluggable surge arrester parallel to the transverse direction of the short narrow side of the first contact pieces from above or below. In the opposite direction, the second insulating piece is attached. In the end position, both parts are plugged together and securely held. Furthermore, a secure position retention of the contact pieces in the insulating pieces is achieved by this locking, so that occurring during the insertion process of the surge arrester forces are absorbed by the contact pieces without the contact strips are claimed by pressure forces when plugging. the insulating pieces are in the desired mounting position, when the shell part is inserted with the contact pieces in the one-sided open cuboid housing part to this latched or locked, so that a relative displacement of the insulating can be excluded relative to the housing part. In the normal use of the pluggable surge arrester so that no displacement of the contacts can be done relative to the surge arrester, so that an undesirable mechanical stress associated with the contact pieces contact strips or contact plates is excluded.
In addition, the first insulator isolates the connection area between the first contact piece and the first contact strip, so that a voltage flashover is ruled out in this area.
An advantageous for manufacturing development, which is also functionally advantageous, is seen in that both contact pieces have identical shape, in particular in the form of a cuboid flat plate, protruding from the first broad side of the wedge-shaped contact, and at the second broad side of an approximately T shaped contact piece is formed, which covers a parallel to the wedge edge of the contact edge edge of the plate with a part of its transverse web and covered with its longitudinal web part of the second broad side of the plate, wherein alternatively the outer surface of the crosspiece is connected to a leg of an L-shaped contact part, whose other leg is connected to the first contact strip, or with the longitudinal web, the bending of the contact plate of the second contact strip is connected.
According to this embodiment, both contacts can be formed identically, which is advantageous in terms of manufacturing costs. In addition, both contact pieces provide corresponding connection points for the contact strip or the contact plate.
In order to achieve a secure fixation of the first and second contact piece by means of the two insulating pieces, it is also preferred that the first insulating piece with a first and a second flat web each have an edge strip adjacent to the wedge-shaped contact of the first contact piece of the first broad side of the first cuboid plate covered, wherein the lower second flat web covers over a side adjacent to the wedge-shaped contact of the second contact piece edge strips of the first broad side of the second parallelepiped plate, and wherein the web of the first insulating piece engages below the lower peripheral edge of the second parallelepiped plate.
In order to avoid a voltage flashover between the first contact piece and the first contact strip, it is also provided that the first insulating piece has a wall which is in assembly target position in the region of the first contact piece between the longitudinal web and connected to the first contact strip leg of the L-shaped Contact part is located.
For the overall safe arrangement and mounting of the elements to each other and relative to each other is also provided that the second insulating piece has a flat webs of the first insulating piece to a common bottom wall complementary wall, are formed on the support webs, at the end edge of the first contact piece and both Abut side edges of the second contact piece, wherein the end of at least one support web forms the insertion projection, which engages in the recess of the web of the first insulating piece.
In order to perform the latching and in particular the unlatching of the surge arrester in a simple manner, in particular to allow the release of the surge arrester of the recording, it is provided that on the narrow side surfaces of the surge arrester and either on Housing part or on the first and / or second insulating piece resilient detents are formed or arranged, which serve for locking on the receptacle for the surge arrester, with additional handling surfaces are formed in the insertion direction behind the notches for releasing the locking.
With this configuration, it is possible in a simple manner to lock the surge arrester to the corresponding receptacle in the plug position. If the surge arrester is to be released from this position, the manipulating person can attack the handling surfaces and actuate them to release the detent.
Furthermore, it can be provided that the first insulating piece is approximately U-shaped and has recesses in the base of the U-shape with guides with which it can be plugged onto the plates of the wedge-shaped contacts, wherein the peripheral edges of the plates in mutually parallel guide slots the recesses are received, and that in the region of the first contact piece, a wall at the base of the U-shape is formed, which engages in a gap between the leg of the contact part and the second broad side of the plate of the first contact piece in the target position.
As a result, a simple and secure arrangement of the parts is achieved to each other, because the first insulating piece can be plugged with the recesses and guides on the plates of the wedge-shaped contacts, so that a secure position alignment and positioning is achieved. In addition, in the region of the first contact piece, a wall is formed on the base of the U-shape, which engages in a gap between the leg of the contact part and the second broad side of the plate of the first contact piece in assembly target position, so that here an isolation of the parts is achieved and a Spannungsüberschläg between these elements is prevented.
Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the first insulating piece in the base of its U-shape identifies a second recess between the contact pieces or the recesses for receiving them, in which a guide and retaining projection, which protrudes from the back of the second insulating piece, guided insertable and can be fixed, wherein in mounting target position both insulating pieces together form a cover plate for the short narrow side of the mounting part, which is penetrated only by the wedge-shaped contacts of the two contact pieces.
Through this design, it is possible in a simple manner, the second insulating piece on the put on the first insulating piece and fix it.
A preferred embodiment is also seen in that the housing part has recessed side surfaces, on the peripheral edges of latching or holding projections are formed and the first insulating U-shaped and on the legs of the U-shape has recesses for engagement of the latching or retaining projections , wherein the recessed side surfaces are filled in assembly target position by attached to the legs moldings having protruding notches and externally operable handling surfaces.
The molded parts are thus no longer an integral part of the housing part, but separately manufactured elements, which are preferably connected to the insulating piece in particular plug-connected. This makes it possible to manufacture in a simple manner, the moldings as separate elements in different color scheme and combine with the entire element, the gaps between the moldings and the corresponding parts of the housing part can be made very narrow, at least narrower than when Moldings integral components of the housing part would be. Also, the assembly is thereby facilitated overall. Embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and described in more detail below.
