Description

The present invention relates to a blank for producing a three-dimensional structure of paper, cardboard or plastic, in particular a packaging, a display or the like, comprising a plurality of folding edges. The invention further relates to a folding box for storing goods, in particular folding box made of cardboard, paper or the like, comprising at least one front wall, at least one rear wall and at least one first and second side wall for connecting the front and rear walls, a bottom construction to the bottom-side closure Folding box, and several folding edges.

Such blanks, three-dimensional structures and cartons are known in a wide variety. Among other things, these blanks or three-dimensional structures or folding boxes are folding boxes, which are a widely used form of packaging for cigarettes and the like. So describe the DE 43 11 568 A1 , the EP 2 141 090 A1 , the DE 101 06 547 A1 , the US Pat. No. 6,276,600 B1 and the DE 600 28 078 T2 Packaging in the form of a prismatic body along its longitudinal axis, wherein a lid is hinged to a container-like receiving area. A disadvantage of these known packages - as well as packaging for other goods - is that these on the one hand do not allow insight into the contents of the package or on the other hand packaging material arranged in the packaging can not be included in the design of the package as a whole. Due to the closed carton structure, further sales-promoting design designs of the three-dimensional structure or folding carton are excluded. The same applies to one in the DE 2 166 517 A described blank for a carton. In the folded state of the blank, an additional surface is connected via expansion openings to a side wall of the resulting folding box. The expansion openings lie on a corresponding wall portion of the carton, so that there are no through openings and thus no insight on the box contents is possible. In addition, there are no further design possibilities due to the expansion openings, which can contribute to an advantageous presentation of the folding box. From the WO 2012/123189 A1 a folding box according to the preamble of claim 1 is known. The folding surfaces form rounded corner regions of the folding box and have a multiplicity of weakening lines which can form geometric patterns. The EP 2 773 576 A1 discloses a blank and a corresponding carton having the features of the preambles of claims 1 and 7.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a generic blank for producing a three-dimensional structure of paper, cardboard or plastic, a corresponding three-dimensional structure and a corresponding carton made of paper, cardboard or plastic, through which improved shapes and designs of the structure or the On the one hand and, if necessary, a product view can be realized.

To solve these problems are blank with the features of claim 1, a three-dimensional structure with the features of claim 6 and a carton with the features of claim 7. Advantageous embodiments with expedient developments of the invention are set forth in the dependent claims, wherein advantageous embodiments of the blank are to be regarded as advantageous embodiments of the inventive three-dimensional structure or the carton according to the invention and vice versa.

An inventive blank for producing a three-dimensional structure of paper, cardboard or plastic, in particular a packaging, a display or the like comprises a plurality of folding edges, wherein at least one Faltkante is designed as a folding surface. The fold surface has an array of a plurality of apertures passing through the blank and formed therein, the apertures being formed as spaced-apart geometric shapes. Under openings are understood geometric shapes that are already formed in the blank as geometric shapes. The folding surface has openings of different size and / or geometry. By configuring at least one folding edge as folding surface with correspondingly arranged openings, a product view within the three-dimensional structure or the folding box, both of which can be produced from the aforementioned blank, can be realized. The folding surface is understood to be the flat configuration of the respective folding edge that results from the geometry and dimension of the openings. Furthermore, due to the special design of the folding edge as a folding surface with a multiplicity of openings, it is possible for a material, in particular packaging material, arranged within the three-dimensional structure or folding box to be included in the design of the structure or folding box. In addition, there are more advantageous and promotional design possibilities. For example, at least partially at least one pattern, a graphic, an image and / or a structure having element, a color strip or band, a transparent and / or non-transparent film, a fluorescent and / or in the region of the folded edge formed as a folding surface reflective strip, a luminescent strip or ribbon or a combination of these elements may be arranged such that at least a portion of the openings is covered and the at least one graphic effect and / or color effect and / or reflective effect and / or luminous effect of these elements covered openings can be seen through. This results in significantly sales-promoting design options that are not possible with conventional blanks, three-dimensional structures or cartons. For example, the carton according to the invention can serve for the storage of tobacco products, in particular cigarettes. Usually, cigarettes are surrounded within the corresponding carton by another packaging wrapper. The design, surface and / or color of this packaging wrapper can be viewed by the consumer in the invention and thus determines the optical image of the corresponding three-dimensional structure or folding box.

In advantageous embodiments of the blank according to the invention, the folding surface is at least partially strip-shaped, straight and / or curved. In addition, it is possible for the folding surface to be defined by a series of openings arranged one behind the other and / or at least two rows of openings which run parallel to one another and / or a number of openings which are formed in an irregular manner relative to one another. The present invention further relates to a three-dimensional structure of paper, cardboard or plastic, which is made of at least one blank, as described above. The design possibilities and advantages of a three-dimensional structure produced in this way result from the design possibilities and advantages of the described blank according to the invention which are also described above. It can the three-dimensional structure in particular a packaging, a display, in particular for the presentation of goods, or the like.

The present invention further relates to a folding box for storing goods, in particular a carton, paper or the like, comprising at least one front wall, at least one rear wall and at least one first and second side wall for connecting the front and rear wall, a bottom construction to the bottom Closure of the carton, and several fold edges. In this case, at least one folding edge is formed as a folding surface, wherein the folding surface has an arrangement of a plurality of through openings and the openings are formed as spaced-apart geometric shapes. The folding surface has openings of different size and / or geometry. The folding surface is understood to be the flat configuration of the respective folding edge that results from the geometry and dimension of the openings. By designing at least one folding edge as a folding surface with correspondingly arranged openings, a product view from the outside can be realized. Furthermore, due to the special design of the folding edge as a folding surface with a multiplicity of openings, the possibility arises that a material arranged inside the folding box, in particular packaging material, can be included in the design of the folding box. Thus, for example, at least partially at least one pattern, a graphic, an image and / or a structure having element, a color stripe or band, at least in the region of the folding edge designed as a folding surface with the arrangement of a plurality of through openings transparent and / or non-transparent film, a fluorescent and / or reflective trained strip, a light strip or ribbon or a combination of these elements may be arranged such that at least a portion of the openings is covered and the at least one graphic effect and / or color effect and / or reflective effect and / or luminous effect of these elements can be seen through the openings covered with it to the outside. In this case, the light strip or the light strip can be equipped with at least one LED. Furthermore, there is a possibility that it has a structure Element is formed such that the raised portions of the structure at least partially project through the openings. Finally, the pattern, the graphic, the image and / or structure element, the color strip or ribbon, the transparent and / or non-transparent film, the fluorescent and / or reflective formed strip, the light strip or the light strip or a combination of these elements may be formed as in the carton separately introduced inliner. Overall, there are a variety of design options for the three-dimensional structure or carton, the sales-promotional effects that are not possible with conventional cartons. For example, the carton according to the invention can serve for the storage of tobacco products, in particular cigarettes. Usually, cigarettes are surrounded within the corresponding carton by another packaging wrapper. The design, surface and / or color of this packaging wrapper can be viewed in the invention by way of example by the consumer and thus determines the optical image of the corresponding carton.

In advantageous embodiments of the folding box according to the invention, the folding surface is at least partially strip-shaped, straight and / or curved. In addition, it is possible for the folding surface to have a row of openings arranged one behind the other and / or at least two rows of openings running parallel to one another and / or a number of openings formed in an irregular manner to one another. The openings formed in the folding surface can be, for example, circles, semicircles, ovals, sickles, stars, letters, numbers, symbols and / or polygons. Other forms are conceivable. In addition, a wide variety of shapes can be used within a folding area. As a result of this multiplicity of design possibilities of the folding surface, a large number of design and design possibilities in turn result in the embodiment of the folding box according to the invention. The folding surface is always designed such that it replaces a conventional folding edge in their function the same effect. In addition, the folding surface can be dimensioned such that a rounded fold region is formed. At a Corresponding embodiment of the folded edges between the side surfaces of the carton thus advantageously results in a carton with rounded corners, this design feature can be used in turn as a sales-promoting innovation in the packaging sector.

In further advantageous embodiments of the folding box according to the invention, the openings formed in the folding surface are produced by means of punching or laser energy. This results in particularly contoured openings, on the one hand support the function of the folding surface as a folding edge and on the other hand have a positive impact on the design of the carton.

The FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of a blank 10 for producing a three-dimensional structure of cardboard. The three-dimensional structure is a packaging, in particular a folding box. The blank comprises folding walls 50, 52, 54, 56, 70, 72 connected wall and floor elements 12, 14, 16, 26, 28, 30, 32 for forming at least one container-like receiving area in the folded state of the blank 10 (not shown). Furthermore, it can be seen that the rear wall 16 via a bending line 74 with a first cover wall 22, the first cover wall 22 via a bending line 76 with a second cover wall 18 and the second cover wall 18 via a third bending line 78 with a third cover wall 20 to form a Closure cap 92 in the folded state of the blank 10 (not shown) are connected. The first cover wall 22 is also connected via the folding edges 54, 56 with cover side walls 34, 36. The third cover wall 20 is connected via folding edges 58, 60 with further cover side walls 38, 40. In addition, adhesive tabs 46, 48 are formed on the lid side walls 34, 36 via bending lines 86, 88, which abut in the folded state of the blank 10 on an inner side of the second lid wall 18 and are glued thereto. On the side opposite the second cover wall 18 side, the third cover wall 20 also has a bending line 80, via which it is connected to a further adhesive tab 24.

It can be seen that the folding edges 50, 52, 54, 56 joining the side walls 26, 28, 30, 32 to the front and rear walls 12, 16 are designed as folding surfaces. The same applies to the cover side walls 34, 36, which are likewise connected to the first cover wall 22 via folding edges 54, 56 formed as folding surfaces. The folding edges 58, 60, via which the third cover wall 20 is connected to the further cover side walls 38, 40, are formed as folding surfaces. The folding surfaces all have the same geometric pattern consisting of a plurality of round openings 94. It can be seen that the openings 94 are different in their diameter and form an overall strip-like folding surface. The strip-like design of the folding surfaces is achieved by a parallel arrangement of several rows of openings 94. In the illustrated embodiment, rows consisting of openings 94 with a smaller diameter alternately alternate with rows consisting of openings 94 with a larger diameter. In the illustrated embodiment, a total of seven rows of alternating openings 94 are arranged parallel to each other. In their function, the folding surfaces correspond to the function of conventional folding edges.

Furthermore, it can be seen that the folding surfaces are dimensioned such that in the folded state of the blank 10, a rounded folding area between the respective wall and floor elements 12, 16, 22, 20 and the adjacent side walls 26, 28, 30, 32 and the cover side walls 34, 36, 38, 40 is created. In addition, the corners of the bottom element 14 and the second cover wall 18 are rounded, so that the shape of these two elements adapts to the shape of the folded surfaces in the folded state of the blank 10.

Die Klebelaschen 42, 44 dienen im Zusammenspiel mit dem Bodenelement 14 zur Ausbildung einer Bodenkonstruktion 90 im zusammengefalteten Zustand des Zuschnitts 10.Furthermore, it can be seen that the side walls 30, 32 have adhesive tabs 42, 44 articulated via respective bending lines 82, 84, wherein the adhesive tabs 42, 44 (not shown) are glued to an inner surface of the bottom element 14 in the folded state of the blank 10. At the adhesive tabs 42, 44 opposite ends of the side walls 30, 32, these are separated via corresponding cutting lines of the cover side walls 34, 36. The cut lines run up to the respective starting point of the bending line 74, which is formed between the rear wall 16 and the first cover wall 22. The adhesive tabs 42, 44 serve in conjunction with the bottom element 14 to form a bottom construction 90 in the folded-up state of the blank 10.

FIG. 2 shows a schematic representation of a second embodiment of the blank 10. It can be seen that this second embodiment with the in FIG. 1 shown in the first embodiment is almost identical, so that in the description of the figures on the description of FIG. 1 is referenced. in the In contrast to the first exemplary embodiment, the blank 10 according to the second embodiment has another embodiment of the folding edges 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60 designed as folding surfaces. It can be seen that the openings 94 are again formed round, wherein the diameter and the distance between the individual openings 94 of those in FIG. 1 shown is different. In addition to the round shapes of the openings 94 shown in the exemplary embodiments, a multiplicity of further geometric shapes are also conceivable and usable.

The described blanks 10 for producing three-dimensional structures or folding boxes usually consist of cardboard, paper or plastic. Other suitable materials are conceivable. The folding surfaces with the openings 94 can be produced by punching or by means of laser energy. Other suitable manufacturing methods are conceivable.
