Claims (2)
- Surface mounted or wall light (1) essentially consisting of an elongated casing with a rear panel (30) for mounting purposes, such that the casing has a roughly triangular shaped cross section; it further consists of a lamp (2) fitted inside the casing, preferably fluorescent, with shades (50, 70) surrounding the lamp and extending parallel to it, as well as being set at an angle to one another; there are also reflectors with reflector surfaces (61a, 61b, 62a, 62b, 62c) positioned at angles to one another for the emission of direct light (B) and indirect light (A), such that the upper shade (50) is frosted for the indirect light (A) and scatters the indirect light (A) diffusely; a first one piece reflector (61a, 61b) with a roughly parabolically curved reflector surface (61b) reflecting the indirect light (A) in the direction of the lamp, and a flat reflecting surface (61a) reflecting the direct light (B), is positioned near the rear panel (30) and characterised by the fact that this first reflector (61a, 61b) is positioned opposite a second one piece reflector (62a, 62b, 62c) with flat reflector surfaces (62b, 62c) reflecting the indirect light (A) and a flat reflector surface (62a) reflecting the direct light (B), such that the reflector surfaces (61a, 62a) for production of the direct light (B) and the reflector surfaces (61b, 62b, 62c) for production of the indirect light (A) in each case border upward or downward opening funnel shaped chambers (63,64), and that the lower shade (70) for the direct light (B) has fluting, by means of which the proportion of light emitting downwards is amplified in comparison with the light emitting laterally (C).
