Le dispositif de nettoyage est composé d'au moins deux axes parallèles au sol sur lesquels coulisse le boîtier de la tête de nettoyage muni de douilles, la tête de nettoyage coulissant de droite à gauche sur les deux axes, deux moyens mécaniques repositionnables de type butée, câble ou hameçon nage permettant de basculer la came, servent à déterminer la course nécessaire au nettoyage, d'un axe rigidifiant l'ensemble, deux plaques réglables avec amortisseur coulissant sur les axes et d'une traverse supérieure parallèle aux axes, fixée entre les deux supports du dispositif permettant de créer un pivot central de rotation positionné sur le milieu de la traverse, accompagnant le mouvement de la tête de nettoyage par l'intermédiaire d'un tuyau souple, un étrier fixé sur le pivot reçoit un raccord tournant pour l'alimentation en fluide haute ou basse pression de la tête de nettoyage.
