Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for covering a tubular film over a stack of goods.
- the invention also relates to a method for covering a tubular film over a stack of goods.
- Stack of goods means in particular a plurality of packs, packets, sacks or similar units that are conveniently stacked to form a cuboid stack of goods. It is within the scope of the invention for the stack of goods to be placed on a pallet.
- This stack of goods is covered with a tubular film or with a film hood in order to give the stack of goods greater stability on the one hand and to protect the stack of goods from the effects of the weather on the other hand.
- the stack of goods can also be a few stacked units or a single larger unit, for example from the white goods sector (washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers and the like).
- the stack of goods preferably has a cuboid shape.
- the stack of goods does not necessarily have to have this cuboid shape, but can in principle also have other shapes.
- the tubular film is supplied from a tubular film supply and the tubular film is opened over the stack of goods and gathered in the vertical direction. This is then usually followed by transverse stretching of the gathered tubular film in the horizontal direction. The transverse stretching is carried out with the proviso that the cross section or horizontal cross section of the transversely stretched tubular film is larger than the cross section or horizontal cross section of the stack of goods. The tubular film is then drawn over the stack of goods and gathered up again in the process.
- a device of the type mentioned, from which the invention is based, is made DE 90 01 321 U1 known.
- a device for covering stretch film hoods over a stack of goods is described here, the lower edge of the stretch film hood being folded over shortly before the end of the covering process, so that the stretch film hood is doubled in its lower edge area. With this device, a stabilization of the stack of goods on a pallet is only possible in the lower area adjacent to the pallet.
- Out of EP 2 036 818 is a device known under Article 54(3) EPC.
- the invention is based on the technical problem of specifying a device of the type mentioned at the outset with which an improved, effective securing of the load can be implemented. Furthermore, the invention is based on the technical problem of specifying a corresponding method for covering a tubular film over a stack of goods.
- the invention teaches a device according to patent claim 1 or according to patent claim 2.
- the tubular film consists of an elastic plastic.
- the side edges of the tubular film are expediently folded inward when in storage (tubular film stock).
- the tubular film can be pulled tautly over the stack of objects, so that it rests tautly and form-fittingly on the side walls of the stack of objects, in particular due to elastic restoring forces.
- the tubular film can also be pulled loosely over the stack of goods.
- the tubular film is a shrink film that is shrunk onto the stack of goods.
- the tubular film is in the pulled-on state as a film hood.
- the tubular film separated from the tubular film supply is expediently welded off with a welding device, so that it is closed on the upper side or on the upper side of the stack of goods.
- the tubular film pulled over the stack of goods can also be open at the top and bottom.
- the film strip consists of a plastic or a thermoplastic material. It is also within the scope of the invention for the film strip to be applied to the stack of goods, at least in certain areas, with the tubular film being interposed. The film strip then lies with its underside on the stacked goods side at least in regions on the tubular film. The film strip expediently rests on the tubular film with at least 30%, preferably with at least 40% and preferably with at least 50% of the area of its underside on the stacked goods side. According to a recommended embodiment of the invention, at least 60%, preferably at least 70% and preferably at least 80% of the surface of its underside on the stacked goods side of the film strip rests on the tubular film.
- the film strip is expediently in contact with the stack of goods or with the tubular film arranged on the stack of goods in a form-fitting and/or force-fitting manner.
- the film strip is preferably applied to the stack of goods or to the tubular film arranged on the stack of goods under the action of elastic restoring forces and/or is shrunk onto the stack of goods or to the tubular film lying on the stack of goods.
- the film strip has a shorter length than the tubular film and thus surrounds the stack of items as a strip of film, so to speak.
- the film strip has the same length or essentially the same length as the tubular film and then completely or essentially completely surrounds the side walls of the stack of goods. The invention is based on the finding that the additional film strip achieves an additional effective safeguarding of the stack of objects or of the tubular film pulled over the stack of objects.
- the film strip is a tubular film section that can be pulled over the stack of items covered with the tubular film. It is within the scope of the invention that the tubular film section is opened in front of the stack of goods and pulled over the stack of goods. According to a recommended embodiment variant, the tubular film section pulled over the stack of goods is designed to be open at the top and bottom. It is within the scope of the invention that the tubular film section has a shorter length than the tubular film and thus surrounds the stack of items as a strip of film, so to speak.
- the tubular film section is supplied to the tubular film from the tubular film supply.
- the same film material is therefore used both for the tubular film and for the tubular film section.
- the tubular film section is then expediently in the form of a gusseted tube. It is recommended that the tubular film and the tubular film section consist of an elastic plastic.
- a particularly recommended embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the tubular film section is pulled over with the pull-down device with which the tubular film is also pulled over the stack of goods.
- the tubular film and the tubular film section are expediently pulled over with the same movable or vertically movable clamping frame/lifting frame, with guide elements being recommended connected to the clamping frame/lifting frame, which hold the tubular film or the tubular film section during pulling.
- guide elements are preferably arranged at the four corners of the stretched tubular film with a rectangular cross section or the stretched tubular film section with a rectangular cross section.
- a shirring device is provided with which both the tubular film and the tubular film section are gathered before being pulled over the stack of goods.
- the same gathering device is used both for gathering the tubular film and for gathering the tubular film section.
- the shirring device expediently has shirring elements or shirring bars and shirring rollers which are arranged at the four corners of the stretched tubular film with a rectangular cross section or at the four corners of the stretched tubular film section with a rectangular cross section.
- the gathering device also serves as a pull-down device for pulling the tubular film over and for pulling the tubular film section over the stack of goods.
- the device according to the invention has a separating device with which both the tubular film and the tubular film section are separated from the tubular film supply.
- a welding device is additionally provided for welding the tubular film, so that the tubular film can be drawn over the stack of goods as a film hood.
- the tubular film is stretched transversely.
- a transverse stretching device is provided with which both the tubular film and the tubular film section are stretched transversely before being pulled over the stack of goods.
- the transverse stretching of the tubular film or tubular film section is carried out with the proviso that the cross section or horizontal cross section of the transversely stretched tubular film and transversely stretched tubular film section is larger than the cross section or horizontal cross section of the stack of goods.
- the transverse stretching expediently takes place in the gathered state of the tubular film or in the gathered state of the tubular film section.
- a particularly recommended embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the gathering device is also used as a transverse stretching device.
- the gathering elements of the gathering device are then also the transverse stretching elements of the transverse stretching device.
- the transverse stretch elements or gathering elements move apart transversely to the feed direction of the tubular film or tubular film section.
- An embodiment of the device according to the invention preferably operates as follows.
- the tubular film is first fed in from the tubular film supply and opened with an opening device above the stack of goods. Gathering elements of a gathering device then move into the opened tubular film, so that the inside of the tubular film is in contact with these gathering elements.
- the tubular film is then gathered on the gathering device or on the gathering elements.
- the tubular film is expediently severed at its upper end using a separating device. If necessary, it can be welded off with a welding device are formed so that a film hood that is closed on the upper side is formed.
- the shirred tubular film is recommended to be stretched transversely so that its cross section is larger than the cross section of the stack of goods.
- the gathering device is preferably also used here as a transverse stretching device. After gathering and transverse stretching, the tubular film is pulled over the stack of goods. During this pulling over, the gathered tubular film is gathered again.
- the stack of goods is arranged on a pallet and at the end of the covering process the end of the tubular film is placed on the underside of the underside of the pallet or on the underside of the top of the pallet.
- a tubular film section is fed from the tubular film supply and opened with the opening device, expediently above the stack of goods. Then, expediently, the tubular film section is gathered on the gathering device.
- gathering elements are recommended to be driven into the opened tubular film section, so that the inside of the tubular film section is in contact with these gathering elements.
- the gathered tubular film section is then preferably stretched transversely so that its cross section is larger than the cross section of the stack of goods. It is recommended that the transverse stretching is also carried out here with the gathering device, which is also used as a transverse stretching device for the tubular film section.
- the tubular film section is then pulled over the stack of objects and the tubular film section is placed at the desired location on the stack of objects. If the tubular film section was gathered beforehand, the tubular film section is gathered up during the pulling over.
- one end of the tubular film section is placed on an underside of the pallet, in particular on the underside of the pallet bottom or on the underside of the pallet top.
- the tubular film section expediently consists of an elastic plastic and the transversely stretched tubular film section rests against the side walls of the stack of goods under the action of elastic restoring forces when pulled over, at least in some areas with the previously pulled-over tubular film interposed.
- a second alternative embodiment of the invention is characterized in that a banding device is provided with which the film strip can be attached to the stack of goods as a film band.
- Film banderole means that the ends of at least one film web section can be connected, in particular welded, to the film band surrounding the stack of objects or to the film banderole surrounding the stack of objects with the banding device.
- the ends of at least two, preferably two film web sections can preferably be connected, in particular welded, to the film band surrounding the stack of goods or to the film banderole surrounding the stack of goods with the banding device.
- the banding device expediently has at least one connecting device, in particular at least one welding device, with which the ends of at least one film web section can be connected or welded to form the film banderole surrounding the stack of goods.
- the film band or the at least one film section that can be connected to form the film band can be designed as a stretch film.
- the film banderole then lies in a form-fitting manner on the stack of objects or on the tubular film covering the stack of objects, in particular under the action of elastic forces.
- the film band or the at least one film web section that can be connected to form the film band is designed as a shrink film.
- a preferred embodiment is characterized in that the banding device is followed by a shrinking machine with which the film band designed as a shrink film band can be shrunk onto the stack of objects or onto the tubular film covering the stack of objects after it has been applied to the stack of objects.
- the film banderole is first produced by connecting, in particular by welding, the ends of at least one film web section and then the film banderole is stretched over the stack of goods with the proviso that the cross section or horizontal cross section of the stretched film banderole is larger than the cross section or Horizontal cross-section of the stack of goods and then the film banderole is guided from above over the stack of goods, so that the film banderole surrounds the stack of goods or the side walls of the stack of goods. It is within the scope of the invention that the film banderole is stretched over the stack of goods with a rectangular cross section or horizontal cross section. Appropriately, four guide elements engage at the corners of the film banderole.
- the film banderole is recommended to be stretched transversely over the stack of goods, with the proviso that the cross section or horizontal cross section of the stretched film banderole is larger than the cross section or horizontal cross section of the stack of goods.
- the aforementioned four guide elements preferably serve as transverse stretch elements. It is within the scope of the invention that in this embodiment a film banderole made of elastic plastic or stretch film is used. After being guided over the stack of goods, the film banderole then rests against the side walls of the stack of goods under the action of elastic restoring forces. For this purpose, the four guide elements are expediently pulled out of the film banderole from above.
- the term film strip is used in particular a tubular film section and/or a film banderole.
- the foil strip is placed in the upper third, in particular in the upper quarter of the stack of goods.
- the upper third or upper quarter relates to the height of the stack of goods and to the area or side of the stack of goods from which the tubular film is fed.
- This embodiment serves to additionally secure the stack of goods or the tubular film that has already been applied in the upper region of the stack of goods.
- the foil strip can be attached in the lower third, in particular in the lower quarter of the stack of goods.
- the lower third or lower quarter refers to the height of the stack of goods and to the area of the stack of goods on which the tubular film end is arranged. If the stack of goods is arranged on a pallet, the lower third or lower quarter of the stack of goods refers in particular to the corresponding height section of the stack of goods above the pallet. This embodiment serves to secure the stack of goods or the tubular film that has already been pulled over the stack of goods in the lower region of the stack of goods.
- the stack of goods is arranged on a pallet and the film strip can be attached in the lower region of the stack of goods and on the pallet.
- Lower area means in particular the already defined lower third or lower quarter of the stack of goods.
- the foil strip is used for an effective connection of the stack of goods and the pallet and thus for additional security in this area.
- a recommended embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the end of the film strip, in particular of the tubular film section, is placed on an underside of the pallet.

- the film strip is placed as a film band on the stack of goods wrapped with the tubular film and for this purpose the ends of at least one film web section are connected to form the film band surrounding the stack of goods.
- a film web is expediently supplied from a film web supply, in particular from a film web roll, in order to provide the film web section.
- two film webs are each supplied from a film web supply, in particular from a film web roll. It is within the scope of the invention that a film web section is made available from each film web to produce a film band and that the two film web sections are connected to one another to form the film band, in particular welded to one another.
- the two foil webs are connected at their ends, creating a foil web curtain.
- the stack of goods transported on a conveyor enters this film web curtain and takes the film web curtain with it, so that the stack of goods is folded over on three sides with the film web.
- the film webs or film web sections are then expediently guided around the fourth side of the stack of goods until they meet, in particular until they meet approximately in the middle of the stack of goods. It is recommended that the two film webs or the two film web sections are connected to one another there, in particular welded to one another and each separated from the remaining film web. The separation can be done with a heating wire, for example.

Description
The invention relates to a device for covering a tubular film over a stack of goods. The invention also relates to a method for covering a tubular film over a stack of goods. - Stack of goods means in particular a plurality of packs, packets, sacks or similar units that are conveniently stacked to form a cuboid stack of goods. It is within the scope of the invention for the stack of goods to be placed on a pallet. This stack of goods is covered with a tubular film or with a film hood in order to give the stack of goods greater stability on the one hand and to protect the stack of goods from the effects of the weather on the other hand. In principle, the stack of goods can also be a few stacked units or a single larger unit, for example from the white goods sector (washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers and the like). The stack of goods preferably has a cuboid shape. On the other hand, the stack of goods does not necessarily have to have this cuboid shape, but can in principle also have other shapes.
Devices of the type described above are known from practice in various embodiments. In these devices, the tubular film is supplied from a tubular film supply and the tubular film is opened over the stack of goods and gathered in the vertical direction. These devices have basically proven themselves.

It is within the scope of the invention that the tubular film consists of an elastic plastic. The side edges of the tubular film are expediently folded inward when in storage (tubular film stock). One then speaks of a gusseted tube. The tubular film can be pulled tautly over the stack of objects, so that it rests tautly and form-fittingly on the side walls of the stack of objects, in particular due to elastic restoring forces. However, the tubular film can also be pulled loosely over the stack of goods. According to one embodiment variant, the tubular film is a shrink film that is shrunk onto the stack of goods. According to one embodiment, the tubular film is in the pulled-on state as a film hood. For this purpose, the tubular film separated from the tubular film supply is expediently welded off with a welding device, so that it is closed on the upper side or on the upper side of the stack of goods. According to a further embodiment, the tubular film pulled over the stack of goods can also be open at the top and bottom.
It is within the scope of the invention that the film strip consists of a plastic or a thermoplastic material. The film strip is expediently in contact with the stack of goods or with the tubular film arranged on the stack of goods in a form-fitting and/or force-fitting manner. The film strip is preferably applied to the stack of goods or to the tubular film arranged on the stack of goods under the action of elastic restoring forces and/or is shrunk onto the stack of goods or to the tubular film lying on the stack of goods. According to one embodiment of the invention, the film strip has a shorter length than the tubular film and thus surrounds the stack of items as a strip of film, so to speak. According to another embodiment of the invention according to
According to a first alternative embodiment of the invention, the film strip is a tubular film section that can be pulled over the stack of items covered with the tubular film.
According to the first alternative embodiment of the invention, the tubular film section is supplied to the tubular film from the tubular film supply. The same film material is therefore used both for the tubular film and for the tubular film section. When stored, the tubular film section is then expediently in the form of a gusseted tube. It is recommended that the tubular film and the tubular film section consist of an elastic plastic.
A particularly recommended embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the tubular film section is pulled over with the pull-down device with which the tubular film is also pulled over the stack of goods. The tubular film and the tubular film section are expediently pulled over with the same movable or vertically movable clamping frame/lifting frame, with guide elements being recommended connected to the clamping frame/lifting frame, which hold the tubular film or the tubular film section during pulling. Such guide elements are preferably arranged at the four corners of the stretched tubular film with a rectangular cross section or the stretched tubular film section with a rectangular cross section.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a shirring device is provided with which both the tubular film and the tubular film section are gathered before being pulled over the stack of goods. According to this embodiment, the same gathering device is used both for gathering the tubular film and for gathering the tubular film section. The shirring device expediently has shirring elements or shirring bars and shirring rollers which are arranged at the four corners of the stretched tubular film with a rectangular cross section or at the four corners of the stretched tubular film section with a rectangular cross section. According to a recommended embodiment of the invention, the gathering device also serves as a pull-down device for pulling the tubular film over and for pulling the tubular film section over the stack of goods.
It is within the scope of the invention that the device according to the invention has a separating device with which both the tubular film and the tubular film section are separated from the tubular film supply. According to one embodiment variant, a welding device is additionally provided for welding the tubular film, so that the tubular film can be drawn over the stack of goods as a film hood.
It is within the scope of the invention that after the tubular film has been separated and after the tubular film has been gathered, the tubular film is stretched transversely. It is also within the scope of the invention that a transverse stretching device is provided with which both the tubular film and the tubular film section are stretched transversely before being pulled over the stack of goods. The transverse stretching of the tubular film or tubular film section is carried out with the proviso that the cross section or horizontal cross section of the transversely stretched tubular film and transversely stretched tubular film section is larger than the cross section or horizontal cross section of the stack of goods. The transverse stretching expediently takes place in the gathered state of the tubular film or in the gathered state of the tubular film section. A particularly recommended embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the gathering device is also used as a transverse stretching device. The gathering elements of the gathering device are then also the transverse stretching elements of the transverse stretching device. Expediently, the transverse stretch elements or gathering elements move apart transversely to the feed direction of the tubular film or tubular film section.
An embodiment of the device according to the invention preferably operates as follows. The tubular film is first fed in from the tubular film supply and opened with an opening device above the stack of goods. Gathering elements of a gathering device then move into the opened tubular film, so that the inside of the tubular film is in contact with these gathering elements. The tubular film is then gathered on the gathering device or on the gathering elements. After the tubular film has been gathered, the tubular film is expediently severed at its upper end using a separating device. If necessary, it can be welded off with a welding device are formed so that a film hood that is closed on the upper side is formed. The shirred tubular film is recommended to be stretched transversely so that its cross section is larger than the cross section of the stack of goods. The gathering device is preferably also used here as a transverse stretching device. After gathering and transverse stretching, the tubular film is pulled over the stack of goods. During this pulling over, the gathered tubular film is gathered again. According to the recommended embodiment, the stack of goods is arranged on a pallet and at the end of the covering process the end of the tubular film is placed on the underside of the underside of the pallet or on the underside of the top of the pallet. - After the tubular film has been pulled over, a tubular film section is fed from the tubular film supply and opened with the opening device, expediently above the stack of goods. Then, expediently, the tubular film section is gathered on the gathering device. For this purpose, gathering elements are recommended to be driven into the opened tubular film section, so that the inside of the tubular film section is in contact with these gathering elements. The gathered tubular film section is then preferably stretched transversely so that its cross section is larger than the cross section of the stack of goods. It is recommended that the transverse stretching is also carried out here with the gathering device, which is also used as a transverse stretching device for the tubular film section. The tubular film section is then pulled over the stack of objects and the tubular film section is placed at the desired location on the stack of objects. If the tubular film section was gathered beforehand, the tubular film section is gathered up during the pulling over. If the stack of goods is arranged on a pallet, according to a recommended embodiment of the invention, one end of the tubular film section is placed on an underside of the pallet, in particular on the underside of the pallet bottom or on the underside of the pallet top. The tubular film section expediently consists of an elastic plastic and the transversely stretched tubular film section rests against the side walls of the stack of goods under the action of elastic restoring forces when pulled over, at least in some areas with the previously pulled-over tubular film interposed.
A second alternative embodiment of the invention is characterized in that a banding device is provided with which the film strip can be attached to the stack of goods as a film band. Film banderole means that the ends of at least one film web section can be connected, in particular welded, to the film band surrounding the stack of objects or to the film banderole surrounding the stack of objects with the banding device. The ends of at least two, preferably two film web sections can preferably be connected, in particular welded, to the film band surrounding the stack of goods or to the film banderole surrounding the stack of goods with the banding device. The banding device expediently has at least one connecting device, in particular at least one welding device, with which the ends of at least one film web section can be connected or welded to form the film banderole surrounding the stack of goods.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the film band or the at least one film section that can be connected to form the film band can be designed as a stretch film. The film banderole then lies in a form-fitting manner on the stack of objects or on the tubular film covering the stack of objects, in particular under the action of elastic forces. According to another embodiment of the invention, the film band or the at least one film web section that can be connected to form the film band is designed as a shrink film. A preferred embodiment is characterized in that the banding device is followed by a shrinking machine with which the film band designed as a shrink film band can be shrunk onto the stack of objects or onto the tubular film covering the stack of objects after it has been applied to the stack of objects.
According to a variant of the invention, the film banderole is first produced by connecting, in particular by welding, the ends of at least one film web section and then the film banderole is stretched over the stack of goods with the proviso that the cross section or horizontal cross section of the stretched film banderole is larger than the cross section or Horizontal cross-section of the stack of goods and then the film banderole is guided from above over the stack of goods, so that the film banderole surrounds the stack of goods or the side walls of the stack of goods. It is within the scope of the invention that the film banderole is stretched over the stack of goods with a rectangular cross section or horizontal cross section. Appropriately, four guide elements engage at the corners of the film banderole. The film banderole is recommended to be stretched transversely over the stack of goods, with the proviso that the cross section or horizontal cross section of the stretched film banderole is larger than the cross section or horizontal cross section of the stack of goods. The aforementioned four guide elements preferably serve as transverse stretch elements.
In the following, the term film strip is used in particular a tubular film section and/or a film banderole. - According to one embodiment of the invention, the foil strip is placed in the upper third, in particular in the upper quarter of the stack of goods. The upper third or upper quarter relates to the height of the stack of goods and to the area or side of the stack of goods from which the tubular film is fed. This embodiment serves to additionally secure the stack of goods or the tubular film that has already been applied in the upper region of the stack of goods.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the foil strip can be attached in the lower third, in particular in the lower quarter of the stack of goods. Here, too, the lower third or lower quarter refers to the height of the stack of goods and to the area of the stack of goods on which the tubular film end is arranged.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the stack of goods is arranged on a pallet and the film strip can be attached in the lower region of the stack of goods and on the pallet. Lower area means in particular the already defined lower third or lower quarter of the stack of goods. In this embodiment of the invention, the foil strip is used for an effective connection of the stack of goods and the pallet and thus for additional security in this area. A recommended embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the end of the film strip, in particular of the tubular film section, is placed on an underside of the pallet.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the stack of goods or the assembly of stack of goods and pallet is vertically spanned with the film strip. Vertical re-clamping means that the film strip extends over the height of two opposite side walls of the stack of goods and over the top of the stack of goods and over the bottom of the stack of goods or over the bottom of the pallet. For vertical reclamping, a device according to the invention can be pivoted by 90° with respect to the stack of goods or components of the device relevant to the reclamping can be pivoted by 90°.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the length of the film strip is less than 75%, expediently less than half, preferably less than 1/3 of the length of the tubular film. Length relates to the extent of the tubular film or the film strip transversely or perpendicularly to the circumferential direction of the tubular film or the film strip. A preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the length of the film strip is at least 1/6, expediently at least 1/5, of the length of the tubular film and at most half, preferably at most 40% of the length of the tubular film. - The aforementioned embodiments, in which the length of the film strip is less than the length of the tubular film, relate to securing certain areas of the stack of goods or the interposed tubular film.
According to a recommended embodiment of the invention according to

According to a first alternative embodiment of the method according to the invention, the film strip is supplied as a tubular film section. The tubular film section is expediently opened, then stretched transversely and then pulled over the stack of goods. It is recommended that the tubular film section is first gathered and then gathered again when pulled over the stack of goods. The tubular film section is expediently separated from the tubular film supply after the gathering. It is recommended that the tubular film section or the section of the tubular film intended for this purpose is first opened and then gathered, then stretched transversely and then pulled over the stack of goods and gathered in the process. The tubular film section is expediently separated from the tubular film supply after the tubular film section has been gathered.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, film webs or film web sections are used which are designed as shrink film webs or as shrink film web sections. The film webs or film web sections then consist of a shrinkable plastic. Preferably, after the shrink film band has been applied, the stack of goods is transferred to a shrink machine, where the shrink film band is shrunk on.
The invention is based on the finding that with the device according to the invention or with the method according to the invention, a very effective additional securing/fixing of the stack of objects and/or the tubular film located on the stack of objects can be achieved. A particularly effective additional securing or fixing can also be achieved in particular in the area between the pallet and the lower section of the stack of goods. The combination of tubular film on the one hand and film strip on the other hand results in a surprisingly advantageous additional securing of the load. Furthermore, the invention is based on the finding that the measures according to the invention can be implemented in a relatively simple manner. This applies in particular if the film strip can be applied as a tubular film section with the same device or with the same relevant device components with which the tubular film is also applied to the stack of goods. Complex and expensive conversion or conversion measures are not required for this. But also the application of the film tape as a film banderole is characterized by low effort and simplicity. The method according to the invention can also be carried out with high precision and functional reliability. The additional securing of the stack of goods or the load and/or the tubular film already applied to the stack of goods can be implemented at relatively low cost.
