- the plate 364 is supported on its rear face by two adjustable supports 366, 368 at each end of the plate and one adjustable support 370 in the centre. Each support may be individually extended or retracted such that one portion of the substrate web 313 may be forced to travel a greater distance over the plate than the remainder to increase or decrease its amount of tension at that location.
- the central support 370 is extended to increase the tension in this portion of the web up to the same level as the sides to prevent wrinkles occurring (cutting the window typically decreases the tension).
- other sections of the plate 364 may be extended to ensure the correct portion of the web is tensioned. Additional supports may be provided for this purpose, or the location(s) of the support altered.
- threaded supports and complementary nuts may be used.
- the bar can, in other embodiments, be replaced by a curved roller to adjust the tension. However, a roller cannot be as easily adjusted as a stationary bar.
- the bar may also be employed in the press apparatus of Figure 2 or Figure 3 .
- the Figure 4 embodiment further differs from that of Figure 3 in that downstream of the nip roller where the film web 316 is laminated with the substrate web 313, a "chiller" UV lamp device 364 is provided to cure the adhesive.
- the device includes a pair of rollers 366 and 368 that successively divert the laminate web 336 through angles in excess of 90° in opposite senses, preferably approaching 180°. Such a diversion results in the tension in the web being used to force the two web layers into closer contact at the same time as curing occurs. This may advantageously ensure a more accurate register between the layers of the laminate 336 and an improved bond between them.
- the chiller UV lamp and roller arrangement may also be employed in the press apparatus of Figure 2 or Figure 3 . In some embodiments, a single roller diverting the web through greater than 90° may be sufficient.

- Procédé de fabrication d'un réseau répété d'ébauches (150, 450) pour former des emballages, procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à :a) alimenter en continu avec une nappe de support de papier seul (113, 213) une presse (110, 210, 310) par son entrée,b) fixer une nappe continue de matière plastique (116) de même largeur ou de largeur légèrement réduite par rapport à celle du support, pour coller cette nappe au support et former un produit pelliculé, etc) réaliser des perforations et/ou des découpes dans la nappe du support pour former le réseau répété d'ébauches, les perforations et/ou découpes (138, 141, 438) étant réalisées seulement dans la nappe de substrat de papier seul et au moins une coupe est effectuée dans la nappe de support de papier seul (113) pour définir les bords d'au moins une ouverture ou fenêtre (142, 442) dans la nappe de support de papier seul,d) imprimer la nappe de support avec des indices,
l'étape a) précédant l'étape b) et l'étape c) précédant ou succédant à l'étape b). - Procédé selon la revendication 1,
caractérisé en ce qu'
il comprend en outre l'étape e) consistant à retourner la nappe de support de papier seul après l'étape d) et avant l'étape b). - Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes,

on applique l'adhésif (146) à la nappe de support de papier seul au cours d'une autre étape f), cette étape f) précédant l'étape b). - Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes,

il comporte en outre l'étape h) précédant l'étape b) consistant à appliquer un traitement par décharge couronne à la nappe de matière plastique. - Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes,
caractérisé en ce qu'
il comprend en outre l'étape i) après l'étape b) et l'étape c) pour contrôler le produit pelliculé pour s'assurer que la nappe de matière plastique (116), la nappe de support de papier seul (113, 213) et les perforations et/les lignes de coupe sont correctement alignés. - Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes,
caractérisé en ce que
l'étape c) précède de préférence l'étape b) et dans l'étape c) on utilise un module de matrice de coupe avec une impulsion pneumatique pour enlever le support de papier seul entouré par au moins la découpe pour former la fenêtre ou l'ouverture. - Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes,
caractérisé en ce que
la nappe de support de papier seul est fournie suivant un chemin entre l'étape c) et l'étape b) dans lequel le ou chaque retournement dévie le support de papier seul au plus d'un angle égal à 90°. - Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6,
selon lequel
l'étape b) précède de préférence l'étape c) et les perforations et/ou découpes (138, 141, 438) sont réalisées uniquement dans la nappe de support de papier seul et de manière préférentielle, la nappe de support de papier seul est perforée et/ou coupée par en-dessous dans le procédé de découpe arrière.
