Therefore, the interior of the packaging member 231 is maintained as the depressurized state for an extended period of time.
  • the ink cartridge 10' may be accommodated in the packaging member 231 in a state in which the movable member 21 is held at the second (retracted) position shown in Fig. 2(c) .
  • the depressurized space between the front face 41 of the main body 20 and the front wall 161 of the movable member 21 is relatively small, and therefore, the deformation of the movable member 21 may be prevented.
  • the size of the packaging arrangement 230 is also reduced. Because the depressurizes space still exits even through it is relatively small, the interior of the packaging member 231 is maintained at a stable depressurized state for a reasonable period of time.

  • the user When a user intends to remove the ink cartridge 10 from the cartridge mounting portion 1276, the user applies a downward force to an end portion of the first portion 1291.
  • the lock lever 1283 then pivots about the pivot portion 1290, as shown in Fig. 21 , and the second portion 1292 moves up and separates from the latching recess 1000. Consequently, the coil springs 23 and 24 expand, and the ink cartridge 10 is partially ejected from the cartridge mounting portion 1276.
  • the user grasps the rear portion of the ink cartridge 10 and removes the ink cartridge 10 from the cartridge mounting portion 1276.
  • the ink cartridge is readily removed from the cartridge mounting portion 1276.
  • the ink cartridge 10 is not configured to retain the movable member 21 in the second position by itself, the movable member 21 moves freely from the second position to the first position when the second portion 1292 separates from the latching recess 1000, and thereby the ink cartridge 10 is partially ejected from the cartridge mounting portion 1276.

  • a distance D2 between a front end of the signal blocking portion 191 and a front end the signal blocking portion 189 of the ink cartridge 10 or between a front end of the signal blocking portion 191 and a front end of the signal blocking portion 199 of the ink cartridge 10' in the depth direction as indicated by the arrow 33 is -4.7 millimeters to 7.6 millimeters.
  • the front end of the signal blocking portion 191 is positioned 7.6 millimeters or less forward from the front end of the signal blocking portion 189 or 199 in the depth direction, or the front end of the signal blocking portion 191 is positioned 4.7 millimeters or less rearward from the front end of the signal blocking portion 189 or 199 in the depth direction.
  • signal blocking as used herein is meant to include not only reduction of the signal intensity to zero, but also to a reduced level sufficiently lower for the signal blocking portion to be detected. In this respect, although it is preferable that the 100% intensity signal is prevented from passing through the signal blocking portion, also a reduced intensity is allowed to pass and the intensity drop detected.

Claims (6)

  1. Cartouche d'encre (10, 10') comprenant :
    une paroi avant (161) ;

    une deuxième partie de blocage de signal (189, 199) faisant saillie de la paroi avant (161) dans une direction d'insertion (30) de la cartouche d'encre (10) dans un appareil d'enregistrement (250) ; et
    une troisième partie de blocage de signal (72), dans laquelle
    la première partie de blocage de signal (191) est configurée pour empêcher un premier signal provenant de l'appareil d'enregistrement (250) de passer à travers celle-ci ou pour modifier une trajectoire du premier signal lorsque la première partie de blocage de signal (191) reçoit le premier signal,
    la deuxième partie de blocage de signal (189, 199) est configurée pour empêcher un second signal provenant de l'appareil d'enregistrement (250) de passer à travers celle-ci ou de modifier une trajectoire du second signal lorsque la deuxième partie de blocage de signal (189, 199) reçoit le second signal,
    la troisième partie de blocage de signal (72) est configurée pour empêcher le second signal de passer à travers celle-ci ou pour modifier une trajectoire du second signal lorsque la troisième partie de blocage de signal (72) reçoit le second signal,
    la première partie de blocage de signal et la deuxième partie de blocage de signal sont configurées pour se déplacer par rapport à la troisième partie de blocage de signal, et
    la cartouche d'encre comprend en outre :
    un boîtier (20) ayant au moins une partie d'une chambre d'encre (100) définie à l'intérieur de celui-ci, dans laquelle la chambre d'encre est configurée pour stocker de l'encre, et la troisième partie de blocage de signal est positionnée à l'intérieur du boîtier (20) ;
    un élément mobile (21) configuré pour se déplacer par rapport au boîtier (20), dans laquelle l'élément mobile (21) comprend la première partie de blocage de signal et la deuxième partie de blocage de signal ; et
    au moins un élément élastique ayant une première extrémité qui est couplée au boîtier et une seconde extrémité qui est couplée à l'élément mobile (21).
  2. Cartouche d'encre (10, 10') selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle la troisième partie de blocage de signal (72) est configurée pour se déplacer par rapport à chacune parmi la première partie de blocage de signal (191) et la deuxième partie de blocage de signal (189, 199).
  3. Cartouche d'encre (10, 10') selon la revendication 2, comprenant en outre un boîtier (20) ayant au moins une partie d'une chambre d'encre (100) définie à l'intérieur de celui-ci, dans laquelle la chambre d'encre (100) est configurée pour stocker de l'encre, et la troisième partie de blocage de signal (72) est positionnée à l'intérieur du boîtier (20) et est configurée pour se déplacer en fonction d'une quantité d'encre dans la chambre d'encre (100).
  4. Ensemble de cartouches d'encre (10, 10'), comprenant des première et seconde cartouches d'encre (10, 10') selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel :
    la deuxième partie de blocage de signal (199) de la première cartouche d'encre (10') a une épaisseur configurée pour empêcher le second signal de passer à travers celle-ci ou pour modifier la trajectoire du second signal à un moment où la première partie de blocage de signal (191) empêche initialement le premier signal de passer à travers celle-ci ou modifie la trajectoire du premier signal ; et
    la deuxième partie de blocage de signal (189) de la seconde cartouche d'encre (10) a une épaisseur configurée pour ne pas empêcher le second signal de passer à travers celle-ci ou ne pas modifier la trajectoire du second signal au moment où la première partie de blocage de signal (191) empêche initialement le premier signal de passer à travers celle-ci ou modifie la trajectoire du premier signal.
  5. Système de détermination de cartouche d'encre, comprenant :
    la cartouche d'encre (10, 10') selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3 ou l'ensemble de cartouches d'encre (10, 10') selon la revendication 4 ; et
    l'appareil d'enregistrement (250) comprenant :
    une partie de montage de cartouche (276) configurée pour monter la cartouche d'encre (10, 10') ;
    un premier capteur (235) disposé dans la partie de montage de cartouche (276) et comprenant un premier élément d'émission de signal configuré pour émettre le premier signal et un premier élément de réception de signal configuré pour recevoir le premier signal, dans lequel la première partie de blocage de signal (191) est configurée pour empêcher le premier signal de passer à travers celle-ci ou pour modifier la trajectoire du premier signal au moins pendant un montage de la cartouche d'encre (10, 10') sur la partie de montage de cartouche (276), dans lequel une intensité du premier signal reçu par le premier élément de réception de signal, lorsque l'on empêche le premier signal de passer à travers la première partie de blocage de signal (191) ou que la trajectoire du premier signal est modifiée par la première partie de blocage de signal (191), est différente d'une intensité du premier signal reçu par le premier élément de réception de signal lorsque l'on n'empêche pas le premier signal de passer à travers la première partie de blocage de signal (191) ou que la trajectoire du premier signal n'est pas modifiée par la première partie de blocage de signal (191) ;
    un second capteur (230) disposé dans la partie de montage de cartouche (276) et comprenant un second élément d'émission de signal configuré pour émettre le second signal et un second élément de réception de signal configuré pour recevoir le second signal, dans lequel la deuxième partie de blocage de signal (189, 199) est configurée pour empêcher le second signal de passer à travers celle-ci ou pour modifier la trajectoire du second signal pendant le montage de la cartouche d'encre (10, 10') sur la partie de montage de cartouche (276), et la troisième partie de blocage de signal (72) est configurée pour empêcher le second signal de passer à travers celle-ci ou pour modifier la trajectoire du second signal lorsque le montage de la cartouche d'encre (10, 10') sur la partie de montage de cartouche (276) est terminé, dans lequel une intensité du second signal reçu par le second élément de réception de signal lorsque l'on empêche le second signal de passer à travers la deuxième partie de blocage de signal (189, 199) ou la troisième partie de blocage de signal (72) ou que la trajectoire du second signal est modifiée par la deuxième partie de blocage de signal (189, 199) ou la troisième partie de blocage de signal (72) est différente d'une intensité du second signal reçu par le second élément de réception de signal lorsque l'on n'empêche pas le second signal de passer à travers la deuxième partie de blocage de signal (189, 199) ou la troisième partie de blocage de signal (72) ou que la trajectoire du second signal n'est pas modifiée par la deuxième partie de blocage de signal (189, 199) ou la troisième partie de blocage de signal (72) ; et
    un dispositif de détermination configuré pour déterminer l'information associée à la cartouche d'encre (10, 10') en fonction de l'intensité du second signal reçu par le second élément de réception de signal au moment où l'intensité du premier signal reçu par le premier élément de réception de signal change initialement pendant le montage de la cartouche d'encre (10, 10') sur la partie de montage de cartouche (276).
  6. Système de détermination de cartouche d'encre (10, 10') selon la revendication 5, dans lequel le dispositif de détermination est en outre configuré pour déterminer une quantité d'encre dans la chambre d'encre (100) en fonction de l'intensité du second signal reçu par le second élément de réception de signal lorsque le montage de la cartouche d'encre (10, 10') sur la partie de montage de cartouche (276) est terminé.
