Durch Anlegen der Vorderkante der Blechtafel an die Anlegemarke erfolgt eine Feinausrichtung, sodass eine derart ausgerichtete Blechtafel anschließend in einem Druckwerk der Blechdruckmaschine oder einem Lackierwerk der Blechlackiermaschine positionsgenau weiterverarbeitet werden kann. Um ein sicheres Anlegen der Blechtafel an die Anlegemarke der Anlegetrommel zu bewirken, ist ein Zahnriemen aufweisendes Riementransportsystem mit einem Haltemittel vorgesehen, das die Blechtafel mit ihrer Vorderkante gegen die Anlegemarke drängt. Das Haltemittel dient dazu, die Blechtafel möglichst definiert mit ihrer Vorderkante an die Anlegemarke zu drängen. Um die transportierte Blechtafel quer zu ihrer Bewegungsrichtung auszurichten, ist eine Seitenausrichteinrichtung vorgesehen.
