Claims (9)

  1. A feeding device for metal-sheet printing and lacquering machines, having the following features:
    two stops (13) are provided which are arranged in the path of movement of the front edge (12) of the fed-in metal sheet (11);
    an aligning device (15) is provided for the lateral alignment of the metal sheet (11),
    and comprises a primary aligning member (16, 41, 51, 61) provided on one side of the path of movement of the metal sheet (11), the primary aligning member (16, 41, 51, 61) either being non-displaceably positioned in the desired location of the facing side edge (18) of the metal sheet (11) or being positionable in this desired location,
    and comprises a secondary aligning member (17, 43, 53, 63) provided on the other side of the path of movement of the metal sheet (11), the secondary aligning member (17, 43, 53, 63) being displaced relative to the desired location of the facing side edge (19) of the metal sheet (11) and being coupled to a power drive (37, 46) acting transversely to the path of movement of the metal sheet by means of a resilient load-transmission member (38, 47, 55) or being supported against a holder (56) non-displaceably arranged transversely to the path of movement of the metal sheet (11);
    a contact device (14) is provided,
    which is displaced relative to the stops (13) parallel to the path of movement of the metal sheet (11), and
    which is drivable towards and away from the stops (13) by means of a power drive (21);
    the contact device (14) has a coupling member (22, 23),
    which is connected to the contact device (14) by means of a resilient load-transmission member (28, 29),
    which is arranged in the vicinity of the stops (13) for the front edge (12) of the metal sheet (11) above or below the path of movement of the metal sheet (11),
    which is displaced perpendicularly to the surface of the metal sheet (11) and transversely to its path of movement,
    which is movable towards and away from the metal sheet ( 11) perpendicularly to the surface thereof by means of a lifting device (24), and
    which is formed as an adhesive member and is frictionally connectable to the metal sheet (11).
  2. A feeding device according to claim 1, characterised by the feature:
    the coupling member (22, 23) is formed as a suction cap.
  3. A feeding device according to claim 1, characterised by the feature:
    the coupling member (22, 23) is formed as an electromagnet.
  4. A feeding device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised by the following features:
    two coupling members (22, 23) are provided;
    the two coupling members (22, 23) are preferably arranged symmetrically to the centre line of the path of movement of the metal sheet (11).
  5. A feeding device according to any one of claims 1 to 4,
    characterised by the feature:
    the coupling member or members (22, 23) is/are arranged on a carrier (25),
    which is displaced relative to the contact device (14) both parallel to the path of movement of the metal sheet (11) and transversely thereto, and
    which is connected to the contact device (14) by means of one or more resilient load-transmission members (28, 29);
    where there is a plurality of coupling members (22, 23), these are preferably arranged on a common carrier (25).
  6. A feeding device according to claim 5, characterised by the feature:
    the lifting device (24) for each coupling member (22, 23) is arranged on the carrier (25).
  7. A feeding device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised by the feature:
    the resilient load-transmission member (28, 29) is formed by a metal spring, preferably in the form of a helical spring.
  8. A feeding device according to any one of claims 1 to 6,
    characterised by the feature:
    the resilient load-transmission member (28, 29) is formed by a preferably adjustable pneumatic spring.
  9. A feeding device according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised by the feature:
    the secondary aligning member (43, 53, 63) is connected to the contact device (14).
