Claims (16)

  1. Gap-opening device for a casement or leaf (1) which is provided for at least tilting action in an (outer) frame (2) of a window or a door in a building, having a pivoting arm (5) which can be fastened, at one end, on the outer frame (2) by way of a first bearing (6) and, at the other end, on the casement/leaf by way of a second bearing (7, 8, 9) and having a latching member (21) which acts between the pivoting arm (5) and a fitting part (7) of one of the bearings and, by virtue of latch-in action, secures the casement/leaf (1) in at least one tilting position, characterized in that the latching member is at least one ventilation-gap spring (21) which is provided on the fitting part (7) and/or on the pivoting arm (5) and has a resilient latching nose (25, 25a) provided with at least one catch (28, 29), and in that provided on the pivoting arm (5) or on the fitting part (7) is at least one mating catch (20), into which the at least one catch (28, 29) of the latching nose (25, 25a) latches resiliently in the tilting position.
  2. Gap-opening device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the pivoting arm is an opening-out arm (5) of a scissor-action opening-out means (4) which limits the tilting movement of the casement/leaf (1), and in that the tilting position in which the ventilation-gap spring (21) latches into the at least one mating catch (20) is an intermediate position between a maximum tilting position of the casement/leaf (1) and a closed position of this casement/leaf (1).
  3. Gap-opening device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that at least one bearing, for example the second bearing, is a pivoting/sliding bearing (8, 9).
  4. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the ventilation-gap spring (21) comprises a spring body (22) which is provided on the fitting part (7) or on the pivoting arm (5) and has an integrally formed latching nose (25, 25a).
  5. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one latching nose (25, 25a) can be pivoted resiliently in a plane which is arranged perpendicularly, or more or less perpendicularly, to a pivot axis of the second bearing (8, 9).
  6. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one latching nose (25, 25a) or that part of the ventilation-gap spring (21) which forms this latching nose projects beyond a longitudinal side of the fitting part (7) or of the opening-out arm (5), which (longitudinal side), in a state of the scissor-action opening-out means (4) which corresponds to the casement/leaf (1) being tilted to the maximum extent, projects into an angle space formed between the opening-out arm (5) and the fitting part (7).
  7. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, in a state of the scissor-action opening-out means (4) which corresponds to the casement/leaf (1) being closed, the ventilation-gap spring (21) is arranged between the opening-out arm (5) and the fitting part (7).
  8. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the gap-opening spring (21) is produced in one piece from plastic, to be precise with a spring body (22) which can be fastened on the casement/leaf (1) or on the fitting part (7).
  9. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one latching nose (25, 25a) extends along a peripheral side (22.4) of the spring body (22) or a sub-section (22") of the spring body (22), for example the sub-section (22' ') of the spring body (22) projecting, together with the latching nose (25, 25a), beyond the longitudinal side of the fitting part (7) or of the opening-out arm (5).
  10. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the mating catch is formed on a locking plate (16) of the opening-out arm (5), this locking plate interacting with at least one locking bolt (14), provided on the fitting part (7), in order to lock the opening-out arm (5) in a state of the scissor-action opening-out means (4) which corresponds to the casement/leaf (1) being closed.
  11. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least two catches (28, 29) are provided on the at least one latching nose (25) in a formation in which they are offset in relation to one another in the longitudinal direction of the latching nose.
  12. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the ventilation-gap spring (21), including the spring body (22) and latching nose (25, 25a) is of essentially plate-like design, and/or in that the ventilation-gap spring (21) is designed to be mirror-symmetrical in relation to a centre plane (M2) running between a top side (23) and an underside (24) of the spring.
  13. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the spring body (22) contains at least one fastening opening (26) and, offset opposite the latter, in order to secure against rotation, at least one further opening (27) for a pin or bolt provided on the fitting part (7) or on the opening-out arm (5).
  14. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, in a certain sub-region, the latching nose (25) has a thickness which decreases in the direction of the free end of the latching nose, and/or in that, in the sub-section, the spring body (22) has a thickness which decreases in the direction of a free border (22.2) of this sub-section.
  15. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one catch (28, 29) is provided on a side of the latching nose (25, 25a) which is directed towards the second bearing (8, 9).
  16. Ventilation-gap device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the fitting part (7) is a lock-case-front rail (7) of a tilting or pivot-and-tilt fitting designed as a driving-rod fitting, and/or in that at least two mating catches are provided, preferably on the locking plate (16).
