Definitions

  • the invention relates to a printing unit of an offset rotary printing press according to the preamble of claim 1 or 2.
  • a known from DE 198 33 468 A1 offset printing machine also has two opposing pressure, which can be separated along a vertical separation plane and arranged to change the distance.
  • a web-fed rotary printing press which has a plurality of printing units constructed from two printing units each.
  • the printing units are arranged one above the other and can be separated along a substantially horizontally extending parting plane.
  • the individual printing units can be moved vertically transversely to the axis of rotation of the cylinder, so that for the implementation of maintenance, for example, a distance between the individual printing units can be produced.
  • a web-fed rotary printing press is known, the individual components, in particular the cylinder elements and their associated inking and dampening units, are mounted in a support frame.
  • the inking and dampening units are designed as movable units that can be pulled out of the printing unit in the axis-parallel direction of the axes of rotation.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a printing unit of an offset rotary printing machine.
  • the achievable with the present invention consist in particular that the required space can be reduced in front of and behind the paired printing units.
  • the printing units must not, as known from the prior art, are moved apart transverse to the direction of the axes of rotation of the cylinder. Instead, the printing units are arranged laterally offset in the axis-parallel direction of the axes of rotation of the cylinder, so that the printing units for the necessary work are accessible without the distance between the printing units must be changed transversely to the direction of the axes of rotation of the cylinder.
  • This measure is particularly advantageous when a plurality of printing couples arranged in pairs are arranged one behind the other, for example in the manner of printing towers arranged one behind the other, since in this case the successively arranged pairs of printing couples can be set up at a smaller distance from each other.
  • Another advantage results from the fact that certain parts of the printing units, namely the parts that are outermost on one side of a printing unit, are fully accessible even with a relatively small lateral offset between the printing units. This makes it possible, for example, to arrange particularly maintenance-intensive parts of the printing units in this area of the printing units, so that the printing units do not have to be completely moved apart to inspect or maintain these maintenance-intensive parts, but only so far that the parts to be serviced are sufficiently accessible ,
  • the printing units can additionally be arranged at least slightly different distances relative to each other.
  • a printing unit can be moved in the direction transverse to the axes of rotation of the cylinder until at least a slight distance between the printing units has arisen.
  • the printing units can first be disengaged.
  • a printing unit in the axis-parallel direction of the axes of rotation of the cylinder can be moved to make the inner parts of the printing units accessible.
  • An offset rotary printing press or a section of an offset rotary printing press has, for example, eight printing units in modular construction, of which in FIG. 1 only the printing units 01; 02 are shown.
  • the construction of the individual printing units 01; 02 corresponds to the construction described in DE 198 33 468 A1 in the essential features.
  • Each of these printing units 01; 02 is designed as a so-called 5-cylinder printing unit and essentially has two forme cylinder 03; 04; 06; 07, z.
