From practice, it is known to design doors of ovens and dishwashers so that the handle elements do not jump forward. The inventive design of the handle member is thus characterized by the fact that the recessed handle member is made directly by three-dimensional deformation of the material of the front panel and thus the recessed handle member is integrated without additional materials in the front panel.

According to a first embodiment of the invention, the undercut is formed by a U-shaped cut of the front panel, wherein the thus cut-free portion of the front panel between the two parallel legs of the U-shaped notch is angled into the interior of the front panel inside. The formation of this plastic molding of the front panel is preferably carried out during the curing of the material of the front panel, since at this time the material can still easily shape.

According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, the undercut is formed by a substantially linear incision of the front panel, wherein the material of the front panel on one side along this incision preferably prism-shaped three-dimensionally plastically deformed into the interior of the front panel inside.

Since high loads of the front plate occur when using the grip element in the region of the undercut, it is proposed that the front plate is reinforced in the region of the undercut, in particular by applying a reinforcing material to the front plate, in particular glued, to the back of the front plate.

Finally, it is proposed with the invention that the undercut is arranged so that it can be engaged behind from below. This arrangement and design of the undercut is ergonomically particularly favorable, since this is so good to grip behind with four fingers upwards.
